A Billion Years UK & Australia Editions Update

  As many of you know, there have been some difficulties with Amazon concerning the non-US edition being published by Humfrey Hunter and Silvertail Books. Sadly, the problems with A Billion Years caused all of Silvertail's titles to be removed from Amazon, which hurt other authors they publish. Through a lot of hard work and persistence, Humfrey has now resolved the issue and all his books are back up. But titles that were previously noted as "bestsellers" have been reset to "zero." First Ideal School?? WTF?

  First it was orgs, and Miscavige reinterpreted the Hubbard PL on "Ideal Orgs" to be a large, renovated building. Of course, there is nothing about this in the policy letter. Then it was Missions who were supposed to be "ideal." That Mission in San Francisco that Jenna Elfman opened was the first one I think. Or maybe it was the one Lisa Marie and Isaac Hayes did in Memphis? Or Kirstie's in Wichita? All of these are empty shells today. Chicago Is Getting Old Fast

This "ideal" org in Chicago is really setting some interesting precedents. The building has been completed for some time. But they cannot open it. There are two apparent reasons. First,  Miscavige fears being anywhere public -- even surrounded by security and all sorts of measures to protect him from being served with legal process. The second reason seems to be that they have no staff, so have resorted to a scraping of the barrel from other orgs.   This is a new one even for me. It is indicative of how panic-stricken they are. I was alerted to this by a reader who sent me the following message: Mike, Just an fyi. I thought that I was ordering your book ahead of time on Amazon. Instead my order actually went through with an estimated receive date!?
