Fast Eddie Parkin put out a beauty of a brown-noser tweet a few days ago. Even by Eddie's low standards, this one was exceptional. His 60,000+ "followers" managed to put together 4 "likes" and 8 of the 10 comments were, to put it kindly, not complimentary of the COB. Then I clicked on the article. OMFG. It runs the gamut of obsequiousness that would be embarrassing for anyone other than a dyed-in-the-wool sociopath. I am not going to rehash it here, I will simply excerpt the fawning descriptions of the great man by one Joel Anderson (someone who may have shaken hands … [Read more...]

All-American Hero
This guy is an "icon" and "all-American hero" because he has given some of his ill-earned cash to ideal org campaigns, but more so because he has persuaded others to part with their money. Who can forget his wacked out video on Tony Ortega's site: "You're going to pay this money fucking eventually"? It is an interesting microcosm of the crazy world of scientology that this is what is lauded. He is a hero figure for scientology. The ONLY criteria for being a hero, humanitarian, icon, champion or any other title you can think of is giving money. While Hubbard said it was the "lowest … [Read more...]
The Wacky “Anti-” Psych
CCHR peddles some pretty outrageous claims about psychiatry But their "Psych Search" guy, Ken Kramer, is a source of wacky that even CCHR must cringe about. Here's some random stuff that showed up all on one day, starting with his clever play on "MAGA" and "Trump" : Then he has another brainstorm... Trying to manipulate Google? Hahahaha. This is the flea climbing the leg of the elephant shouting "get ready, here I come." I guess one could do exactly the same thing with respect to scientology... But I think Google searches on scientology pretty much come up with negative … [Read more...]
Episode 7: Emmy and Oscar Winner Alex Gibney
This week's episode of Fair Game podcast features my old friend Alex Gibney. This is not an episode to miss. Alex is one of the greats in the world of documentary filmmakers. His credits include: The Inventor: Out for Blood in Silicon Valley about Elizabeth Holmes and Theranos We Steal Secrets: The Story of Wikileaks Mea Maxima Culpa: Silence in the House of God (won 3 Emmy’s) Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room (Oscar nom in 2005 for Best Doc) Client 9: The Rise and Fall of Eliot Spitzer Taxi to the Dark Side (winner of the 2007 Oscar for best Documentary) about the war in Ir … [Read more...]
Scientology Healing
Came across this the other day, right from the desk of L. Ron Hubbard. It offers some fascinating insight into how he believed scientology could be sold to cure literally everything, and how to avoid running afoul of the law. The "nod, nod, wink, wink" is thinly disguised and his disdain for government and medical authorities is palpable. It is interesting that this is written in 1962 and, like he had done since 1950, he claimed "we can clear" (until next month or year when he would announce the NEXT "breakthrough" that "now" made clearing possible) and that "of course, Clearing resolves … [Read more...]
More Foolishness from STAND
Another recent tweet from the genuises at STAND League led me to yet another of their brain-addled articles. John Logothetis has apparently caught some sort of mental incapacity from riding in Rodger Clark's clown car of flawed logic... As a note, right at the outset, he excuses the "professional critic" who gets paid for their "opinions." Of course, he must know that this is scientology's repeated claim about me and Leah. That we are simply "paid critics" who have nothing better to do than make a buck off "scientology's good name." But don't think he actually … [Read more...]

Words of Wisdom on Education
Some newly promoted words of wisdom from the master of doublespeak: OK, anyone who has ever been in scientology will read this quote and wonder: "WTF?" This is the EXACT opposite of "education" in scientology. Studying the words of L. Ron Hubbard is viewed as the most important thing anyone can do on this earth. And this is NOT an exaggeration. One would never describe a scientology courseroom as "pleasant," "unhurried" or "casual." Anyone who ran a pleasant courseroom would be designated a dilettante, if not a "squirrel." In fact, this is what Hubbard has to say about … [Read more...]
“Spookist Scientology” — the NOI Have Changed Their Tune
Today, the NOI are in an arranged marriage with scientology. But in the 70's they had other ideas. This was sent in by a former member who found it in a publication. It is less than complimentary to say the least. It really highlights the point that scientology and the NOI are very much opposite in their ideologies. How are they bedfellows today? The only explanation is money. Because it is certainly not their beliefs. From a scientology perspective, the NOI are very aberrated "wogs" who only have value once they have learned scientology "technology" and how to use the … [Read more...]
