Ideal Org Countdown or Down For The Count?

December 22, 2013 By Mike Rinder 57 Comments

Things are not looking too good in the Ideal Org race in East US.  Even though they are sending out this "promo piece" to their public.  8 Orgs with ZERO points? Detroit, Boston and Miami (who have all PURCHASED expensive white elephants), are not even collecting enough to pay for the plywood to keep the windows and doors boarded up. (Remember, this is a POINTS system -- it's not equivalent to the number of dollars collected, except where the figure is 0. That is nada no matter what system it is). All orgs being ideal is truly an absurd pipe dream. And they don't even seem embarrassed to … [Read more...]

An Open Letter to David Miscavige

December 21, 2013 By Mike Rinder 82 Comments

Penned by my good friend Dan Koon, one of the nicest people I know.  Dan also possesses a wry and dry sense of humor.  He said this is the 10 year anniversary of EPing the Highway 79 Rundown, "one of the best rundowns I ever did. It has given me lasting gains." Hi Dave, It has been 10 years to the day that I pedaled through the mechanical gate at the Kirby Apartments, biked through Hemet and routed myself out of the Sea Organization. Today I am reminded of a line in HCOB 31 Dec 59R, rev. 9 Feb 89, BLOW-OFFS (which, incidentally, I found more easily on the Internet than I could have found … [Read more...]

Fasten Your Sear Belt

December 19, 2013 By Mike Rinder 162 Comments

The squirrels are everywhere. And they are us. Ignore if you can the typos and grammar -- what is so remarkable about these pronouncements is how unabashed the bubble dwellers are when they state everything they have been doing up to now has been squirrel.  "You MUST do this new course/rundown/procedure/level/status NOW because we have been doing it all wrong for 20 years." "Return your money and make good on the screw ups you paid us for?"  "Are you kidding?" "You are disaffected. Only COB can tell us everything he implemented we have been doing is squirrel. Start on Steps A-E -- it is … [Read more...]

Why Now Is The Time To Act

December 16, 2013 By Mike Rinder 153 Comments

One of our Special Correspondents sent this in and I felt it worthy of a post:   This article is being written specifically for those of you who are still "in" Scientology, still actively "on lines" or around in the orgs (although, of course, I want everyone to read it).   I know there are many of you "still ins" who read this blog, probably many more than any of you actually realize. I have been exactly where you are right now. And I wanted to share some things that helped me get to a much better place across all my dynamics.   There come points in everyone's life where they are … [Read more...]

An Apt Quote

December 15, 2013 By Mike Rinder 73 Comments

An old friend sent this to me and I thought it very appropriate, especially as we are trying to get life and the house back in order after last night's Christmas Party. It is an easy posting to put up for some Sunday food for thought: Just came across these two verses (73-74) in Gil Fronsdal’s translation of the Dhammapada. [The Dhammapada is a collection of sayings of the Buddha in verse form and one of the most widely read and best known Buddhist scriptures -- Wikipedia]  They struck me as an amazingly apt picture of the Little Emperor [David Miscavige]:   Fools will want … [Read more...]

Begging For Staff Christmas Bonuses

December 14, 2013 By Mike Rinder 107 Comments

This is really quite sad. Apart from exclamation compulsive disorder, this is an IDEAL ORG. One of the big, prominent ones (as opposed to say Cambridge or Malmo or Nashville or LV or Dallas or Padova or Brussels etc etc). It is worth 3 exclamation points that they have 12 scheduled to start GAG II. OMG. Twelve SCHEDULED. I guess they are going to pack out those courserooms built to hold 500 students.... And there are "several people" playing the game to get "5 starts." That is iumpressive. But the really sad part is the begging to please give us money so we can get paid because "he (LRH … [Read more...]

Less Than Enthusiastic Response To GAG II

December 13, 2013 By Mike Rinder 116 Comments

A report from one of our Bay area Special Correspondents with some perspective on the recent events replayed in the local orgs. Not a lot of detail about the contents of the events, but an interesting overview of the state of these "ideal" orgs and their public. One thing is certain -- I recently listened to an audio recording from one of these events -- the Shermanspeak has reached absolutely mind-numbing levels.   Voldemort never utters a simple sentence. Long, run on, convoluted wordplay peppered with "if that wasnt enough" and "not withstanding" and "not to mention" and all manner of … [Read more...]

What’s Wrong With Scientology.org?

December 12, 2013 By Mike Rinder 69 Comments

The masters of the internet and cutting edge technology (see Warehouse VIII and the state-of-the-art paper printing plant) seem to have a rough time keeping their website relevant.  Let alone problems with credibility. They finally just put up an announcement about the opening of the Ideal Org in Kaohsuing. Though it might be best to just leave the Ideal Org thing to die an unlamented death. This is the 4th "Ideal Org" this year -- though the first since the first clear city of Portland in May, preceded by the bust in Pretoria and the non-event in Cambridge Ontario. This is a big thumbs … [Read more...]

Ryan Hogarth Steps Forward

December 9, 2013 By Mike Rinder 97 Comments

The disintegration of the Radical Church in South Africa is rolling forward at a rapid clip. The Sea Org Missionaires sent to try and regain control of the train that left the station are doing their best imitation of kamikaze pilots as they head straight down and vertical in a spectacular suicide mission. Not only did they arrive with a bang and declare 18 prominent OTs and field Opinion Leaders (including the biggest supporters of the Ideal Orgs in South Africa) they are now conducting a witch hunt "Comm Ev" that is soliciting rumors and "declaring" the next round of those who are not in … [Read more...]

The Warehouse VIII “Suitcase Bomb”

December 5, 2013 By Mike Rinder 127 Comments

We just got this write-up from a Special Field Correspondent. It contains interesting information about the Warehouse VIII and how it is going to blow a lot of people off auditing and training. I bet there is a SERIOUS panic happening right about now over the shitty sales of the W8. Everyone HAS to buy two and they HAVE to pay cash.... Yowzah. What a BOMB this is going to be.   Anyone want to take bets on how long it will be before this "policy" gets changed because after 10 years of warehousing, these beauties are STILL sitting in a warehouse? Miscavige will scream about CI and SP's … [Read more...]
