They Cannot Get Over It

September 20, 2020 By Mike Rinder 40 Comments

Ed Parkin (and his Dear Leader, David Miscavige) continue to be obsessed about A&E. Not content that The Aftermath completed its 3 season run more than a year ago, they are operating on the Hubbard dictum "I never forget, I always even the score" and continue, once a week on average, to write editorials demanding the entire A&E network be exterminated. They literally want to cost every A&E employee their job, also pursuant to the dictates of Hubbard. Everyone who works at A&E is an "enemy" because they are connected to The Aftermath, Leah Remini and Mike Rinder. Why does … [Read more...]

“Justice 4 Mom” Advertising on Jezebel

April 26, 2020 By Mike Rinder 68 Comments

I tend to check on my daughter "Taryn's" website occasionally and people send me things of note. Of course, it is her name and image that are being used, it is not "her" website. And there is no proof clearer than the fact they are now paying to advertise on this site. On her Sea Org pay she couldn't afford to buy posterboard to make a sign to hold up on Hollywood Blvd, let alone pay for advertising on a popular web page. Jezebel is a female oriented site that used to be part of the Gawker stable (Gawker was NOT friendly to scientology -- they posted the infamous Tom Cruise IAS Freedom … [Read more...]

Kansas City Corn

June 3, 2019 By Mike Rinder 68 Comments

It's a Disney dream from the deluded bubble-dwellers in Kansas.  This is absolutely bonkers. Walt Disney spent time in Kansas City, so you should join org staff to make an ideal dream come true. What's next -- "the Kansas City Chiefs were good last year, but they need to be pushed over the top to make it all way. So join org staff." Or, "We are famous for our corn here in Kansas, so join the corniest team on earth?" Meanwhile, in Los Angeles the STAAD League are protesting outside Disney HQ because they are such "bigots"... Scientology has a hard time keeping their stories … [Read more...]

Scientology and Nazi Germany

December 12, 2018 By Mike Rinder 115 Comments

Most of you likely saw the clip of Leah reading the letter from scientology before last night's show: https://twitter.com/i/status/1072634441669971970 This is the transcript of the statement: The Church states that it supports religious freedom for all and respects the religious beliefs of others, for all faiths, as enshrined in its Creed. The Church accuses Remini of spreading vitriolic religious hate and bigotry that instigates violence. The Church also insists that this disgustingly bigoted show spreads lies and foments discrimination, as was done in Germany in the 1930s. The Church … [Read more...]

Disney — Fire Them You Hypocrites

October 20, 2018 By Mike Rinder 67 Comments

Here is something from the STAAD website decrying hypocrisy. It's almost like this was written for a TV satire -- The Office or Veep. The character who is a horrible racist files a complaint with HR over an alleged slight on him that he interprets as racially motivated because he has a complete misunderstanding of the term that is used. Scientologist Stacy Sass is complaining so bitterly of "hypocrisy" yet she is part of an organization that embodies the very definition she quotes: the practice of claiming to have moral standards or beliefs to which one's own behavior does not conform; … [Read more...]

Pot. Kettle. Black.

September 8, 2018 By Mike Rinder 223 Comments

The STAAD League continues to froth and rant about the strangest things. While they try to maintain a pretense that they care about anything OTHER than scientology's right to abuse people without censure, they fail routinely. Here is their latest "cause" -- my reference to Michael Chan as Chan Man in the Thursday Funnies. Apparently a rhyming nickname calling him a "Man" is a "racial slur," "bigotry" and even "homophobic"(?) and I should not be employed by anyone associated with Disney (the parent company of A&E). I am happy to know that Michael reads the Thursday Funnies (well, … [Read more...]
