Good News from Flag
I usually publish these after I have accumulated a few and add some points to the long term graph. But it has been more than a month now, and no word from either Jeff Mintz or Sandy Dodwell about ANY "good news" at Flag. It's a pretty good indicator that things are not going too well at the top of the Bridge. They ONLY put out these things when they have something THEY think is "good news." Who Needs OT Levels?
According to this promotional piece, L11 handles everything. So why bother with OT levels? Or anything else for that matter? But then again, there are a lot of "success" stories about every scientology service (Student Hat, Purif, Objectives, Grades, Dianetics, PTS RD, Word Clearing and on and on ad nauseum) where the person proclaims it holds the answers to EVERYTHING and has made them TOTAL CAUSE on all dynamics or "no longer effect of the physical universe" or whatever. I happened to stumble upon this yesterday. It was put out after the "5th Anniversary of the Maiden Voyage" which means shortly after June 1993. Yes, that is right. TWENTY THREE YEARS AGO. And look at the requirements -- OT VIII and SHSBC Grad (or Gard V and ALL Tech Specialist Courses), all orgs St Hill Size and a "A safe environment." More than two decades later: OT VIII's are being pushed to do Student Hat, Purif and Objectives as their "set-ups" for OT IX and X. There is NO Briefing Course. Really? This is the best they have? OT Ambassadors from "61 org fields" did not even fill the ballroom of the Ft Harrison. 61 org fields is more than half all the orgs on earth. And this is THE big deal in scientology, more important than anything else with more time and effort and force devoted to it than any program in the history of scientology. Running Program BS
They are going all out to hype the Running Program in the latest edition of Source mag. It begins with the full page shot of the "Indoctrination" pack - conspicuously labeled "CONFIDENTIAL." First, if they converted the "LRH advice" into an "HCOB" then this huge binder contains 3 pages. There is only one document that describes the Running Program. It was handed out in a file folder to those of us who were assigning to "running around the pole" full time back in the days when there was still a running track at the Gold base. Had a chance to look through the latest International Scientology News -- the propaganda piece sent out after each international event to re-hype the event hype. Based on this magazine alone, things are going to hell in a hand-basket in the shrinking bubble of scientology. What is fascinating about it is what is does NOT contain. It is virtually "expansion news free." Nothing that reflects the "massive international expansion" Miscavige is constantly mentioning.
