Remember the recent post (Hurricane Milton) where Lorianne Isaacson said there would be 6000 people sheltering in the Ft Harrison for the hurricane. It was ridiculous. Now the reality of the "6000" is laid bare. The idea that scientology is large and expanding, even in Clearwater, where they have been circling the wagons for years, is disproven daily. But not before a bit more magical scientology thinking about "admiring" the hurricane away. … [Read more...]

Scientology’s Cowardly Whales
See most recent post: Scientology’s Cowardly Celebrities. Along with those celebrities is the other category of major enablers who remain conspicuously silent in the face of the abuses; the financial supporters, especially the "Whales." Here is a list of the biggest supporters of the IAS Not by any means complete and it excludes anyone who has given less than $1 million (there are many). Most of those named below have also give a lot of cash to the “Ideal Org,” L. Ron Hubbard Hall, Planetary Dissemination, “4th Dynamic: campaigns” and various other fundraisers. The figures are just their … [Read more...]
Scientology’s Cowardly Celebrities
by Leah Remini and Mike Rinder The recent controversy surrounding Emily Armstrong’s role as the new lead vocalist for Linkin Park, paired with her status as a practicing scientologist, sparked public debate. Yet the real issue remains largely overlooked: scientology’s deeply ingrained culture of abuse, secrecy, protectionism, harassment, and retaliation. Members like Armstrong choose to remain silent, tacitly supporting an organization that not only condones but perpetuates a range of abuses. Armstrong’s post about not knowing Masterson’s history as a serial rapist is deliberately mislead … [Read more...]
Hurricane Milton Update
It was a wet and windy night but apart from a lot of debris and no power we came through unscathed. Sadly, the same can’t be said for many others in the area — we will only start seeing the extent of the damage now there is light. As always, your kind thoughts and support are much appreciated. … [Read more...]
Hurricane Milton
Hurricane Milton is heading our way -- right into the middle of west Florida. The latest tracking from the Nation Hurricane Center shows it making landfall around 1am on Thursday morning. It is currently a Cat 5 -- though expected to lower to a Cat 3 before landfall (though these predictions can be wrong). Either way, it is a major storm. I have been trying to answer as many texts and emails as I can from people wishing us well and that we remain safe. Our home is NOT in an evacuation zone and we are not in danger of flooding. It is a brick construction and won't get blown off it's … [Read more...]
The Great Hubbard Archives Scam
One of the great scams Hubbard and scientology has engaged in is the "Archives Project." The pitch: the scribblings of L. Ron Hubbard are so important to the universe that they must be preserved for all time so when life returns to earth after the inevitable nuclear holocaust has turned it into a wasteland, the "tech" will be there for them to start over again. To that end, Hubbard designated the bulk of his estate be allocated to an organization that would be created for this purpose. This is the "Church of Spiritual Technology" or CST. Hubbard's money could not be transferred to CST … [Read more...]
Scientology and Litigation
I came across this on the STAND website. As with everything they ever utter, it is laced with falsehoods. What is the Scientology position regarding litigation? During the history of the Church, some individuals sought to make money from unfounded allegations, but the Church successfully defended against those claims. Well, not exactly. Julie Christofferson won a massive judgment, so did Larry Wollersheim. The family of Lisa McPherson extracted a lrge settlement, so did many victims of Narconon. Litigation involving Churches of Scientology in America is virtually nonexistent today. Only … [Read more...]
LA is on the Verge of a Moral Revival
So they finally admit that the numerous previous fundraising efforts that brought about "mass distribution" of WTH in LA accomplished nothing. They are now going to begin bringing about the revival. Here is what their press release says: Los Angeles is on the verge of a moral revival, and Artists for a Better World International (AFABW) is leading the way! The dynamic LA-based non-profit is creating a buzz by distributing The Way to Happiness, a common sense guide to better living. According to AFABW’s President, Barbara C., the response to the custom-printed covers of The Way to H … [Read more...]
