This is a fascinating look into the ever-shifting sands of corporate Scientology hype. J. Swift pulled this up from the Wayback Machine. I am sure a certain individual who cannot be named would rather it remain buried and forgotten. But unfortunately the small handful of bitter defrocked apostate unemployed bloggers on the fringes of the internet don't listen.... Back in 2004/5, COB's Ideal Orgs were the "big thing." GAG II was just a twinkle in the great man's eye at the time. Ideal Orgs were THE THING. Seattle ED Mark Arnold sent around a briefing to urge his people to get behind the … [Read more...]
The Hasbro Mark VIII Easy Bake Ultrameter Warehouse Edition
Someone on Ortega's blog this morning put up a picture of the Hasbro Easy Bake oven and compared it to the Warehouse VIII. Striking similarity. And worth a laugh. But believe me, in the world of Miscavige, when he becomes aware of this, heads will roll. Russ Bellin and Tom Vorm in CST were the primary movers on the design of the Warehouse VIII. Miscavige announced to everyone in International Management (when it actually existed) that these guys had found the top design firm in the world -- "the people that help design Apple" products. At the time, CST honchos were held up as … [Read more...]
What Does COB Say?
This really requires no comment. But I increasingly think many Corporate Scientologists do now believe that Miscavige is the reincarnation of LRH. What He says has the same force of command as anything from Hubbard. John P Capitalist sent this to me and also noted that the constant highlighting of the failure to complete Santa Barbara, Mountain View and San Diego (let alone Valley) has got to be a negative message. Surely it is striking people as just a little strange that in this period of massive international expansion, and 10 years into the "Ideal Org Program" that there are … [Read more...]
Miscavige’s Disconnection Dilemma
Now that Leah Remini is officially a Special Person (see Tony Ortega's blog this morning), the big question becomes whether Miscavige is going to attempt to enforce the oft-employed disconnection card with Jennifer Lopez. Everyone knows JLo and Leah are BFFs. They were hanging at JLo's party last nite and featured on the People Mag site (and everywhere else). It is also common knowledge that JLo's father is a Scientologist. So, what is the guy who proclaims to be the enforcer of "standard tech" to do? Would eh dare risk trying to force J Lo to choose between her dad and Leah? She IS after … [Read more...]
Message From A Field Auditor — GAG II is Like Waterloo
One of our Special Correspondents sent in this report: It's all true. Following is an excerpt of a message I received from a Field Auditor. He has one of the biggest field auditing groups in our area. He is OT VIII who remains with the Church because of his family of Kool Aid drinkers. But maybe this will change the scene. "They have revived the Survival RD and the BTB about short grades and said that they really were from LRH. "Everything needs to be redone from Student Hat. You have to do it once and then M4 and then once more. Then Pro Trs because they say Clay Table Processes … [Read more...]
Miscavige’s Golden Age “Ridge On The Bridge”
Captain Miscavige seems to have steered His sinking ship head on into another iceberg. In his clamor to get everyone to pay again to redo everything they have already done, He has blockaded the routes up the Bridge AND finally euthanized any remaining Field Auditors who survived GAT. A Special Correspondent has just sent in this report from a tech terminal in CMO LATAM. Apparently the price changes on training in Mexico are overwhelming. They only discussed training data and all figures here are in US Dollars. The Student Hat currently costs about $200. After the event on Friday, the c … [Read more...]
Scientology — The Art of Cognitive Dissonance
Somewhat random thoughts after returning from an out-of-town trip. Cognitive dissonance has reached an art form within the walls of the RCS bubble. Cognitive dissonance is described this way: Mental conflict that occurs when beliefs or assumptions are contradicted by new information. The concept was introduced by the psychologist Leon Festinger (1919–89) in the late 1950s. He and later researchers showed that, when confronted with challenging new information, most people seek to preserve their current understanding of the world by rejecting, explaining away, or avoiding the new information … [Read more...]
Günther Völler Writes To Captain Miscavige
To Mr. David Miscavige COB RTC ----------------------------------- Günther Völler Public Scientologist 13 November 2013 My name is Günther Völler. I became a member of the Church of Scientology in 1987 at Bern Org, later at Zurich Org, Switzerland. From the very first moment, I developed an intense interest in reading, studying, learning and applying the teachings of Mr. L. Ron Hubbard. I wanted to go up The Bridge, and I wanted to help others do so as well. Throughout the years, I have taken many courses and … [Read more...]
More Kool Aid Circus Acrobatics and COB “Almost in Tears”
Busy day today, so getting out the latest Special Correspondent report and Facebook Funnies quickly. ATTENDANCE: I'm told that 14,000 people registered for ID cards but that attendance was 9,250. To correct what I said earlier, it sounds like there actually were overflow spaces. A tent in front of the Oak Cove. Auditorium Ballroom. Sandcastle. Osceola. It's also possible they set up all the different locations so that they can give whatever figure they want without anyone being able to know that it was inflated, because any one person only knows how full their own area was. [There … [Read more...]
The Kool Aid Circus Is In Town
Here is an update of the goings-on in Clearwater. I took a drive through downtown this afternoon. The only thing of note was the number of people with earpieces, walkie-talkies and guns. More Security, OSA, PIs and cops than I have ever seen in one place. It was like a walled off fortress defending against imaginary hordes of attackers. I am sure the citizens of Clearwater were reassured that such a wonderful humanitarian organization had chosen their city to make its presence felt. But what was going on behind the gates, fences and phalanx of security? Here is an update report fr … [Read more...]
