Everyone who has watched The Aftermath knows that scientology invariably sends in rather bizarre denials to what is being exposed in every episode. The finale was no exception. In fact, scientology outdid themselves. How Scientology Views Law Enforcement
In the final chapter of Introduction to Scientology Ethics, L. Ron Hubbard distills a lot of his thoughts on the subject of Law Enforcement, the Judiciary and the handling of justice in society. There are many other places where he says similar things -- some of the confidential advices and OSA issues are even more explicit, calling FBI agents "cockroaches" among other things. Hubbard's fear of the government, FBI, law enforcement, DOJ, IRS etc being after him is apparent starting in the early 50's and descended into complete paranoia by the end of his life. Recent articles at Tony Ortega's blog and the Tampa Bay Times recount the stillborn scientology FBI investigation based on FOI documents obtained by RadarOnline. There is not much else to say about the investigation itself, it has been covered at length by Tony Ortega, the Tampa Bay Times and Lawrence Wright, first in his New Yorker article then more extensively in Going Clear. FBI — WTF Are You Thinking?
Scientology is circulating this promotional piece: The FBI should be investigating scientology for human rights abuses not legitimizing them with "presentations" at their front groups. The earlier FBI investigation, targeting scientology human trafficking, was scuttled. Now, a scientology front group is trying to legitimize itself by claiming FBI sanction/support.
