The (lack of) irony deparment... This small collection of Craigslist ads is a study in irony. The people who destroy families and tear relationships apart, who lie with reckless abandon... The Global Reach of Radio How nutty is this. They can produce everything for radio without any "new studios", they have literally dozens of UNUTILIZED studios. If their figures are true -- 95% of the world's population listens to radio, that means about 75% of those people (between China, India, SE Asia and Africa) cannot even afford to buy an overpriced book, let alone a service. … [Read more...]
Another Conversation With A Scientologist
Another in the series where an interested "wog" communicates to a staff member of an "ideal" org, inquiring about a service they offer on the internet. These conversations provide some fascinating insight into the bubble world of scientology.... My snarky comments are in red. --- Subject: communication classes Date: Fri, 19 Dec 2014 20:25:53 -0600 I got your e-mail from a friend who did this communication course and liked it. Can you tell me more? Xxxx On 12/20/2014 at 9:31 PM Sure, Xxxx, This is a non-profit organization, and we have classes … [Read more...]
Scientology And The Internet
The biggest problem confronting scientology is the statistic they are using to make their latest pitch for money. 8 new people on the internet every second. Who knows if this is true or not, but the number is really irrelevant. It could be one per second or 800 per second. Not a single one of those 1 or 8 or 800 people will ever find the PR about scientology they attempt to spread on the internet without ALSO finding the truth about scientology, which is far more prevalent. It's the ultimate Catch 22. Scientology is like a bunch of starving villagers in an isolated village. They k … [Read more...]
How To Fake Stats
A Special Correspondent sent this in. I've recently started getting texts from Judy Fagerman, who seems to still be the VM I/C Tampa. Here are a few texts she sent me in the last few weeks. I copied all text exactly. Typos included: Dec 15: "Active VM now this week? 141 assists, 34 books at Winter Wonderland. Miracle wins! ML, Judy :)" Dec 22: "Active VM now this week? Did 220 assists, sold 48 books & got out 1,300 promo at Winter Wonderland! Woo hoo! ML, Judy" An earlier one I found interesting since it allows sign "waiving" to be counted as a VM activity: Oct 27: "Active VM now th … [Read more...]
The Auditor Mag
The latest Auditor mag was sent to me. It is quite a tour de force of oddities and omissions. Here are a few pages of note. Proof positive that there is no longer a Briefing Course. This is the HOME of the Briefing course. And not a single mention of it, let alone a completion.... Also apparent, the ONLY people on auditor training at AOSHUK are outer org staff. The big boom of GAG II rocketing public up the training side of the Bridge is completely omitted (because it doesn't exist -- they cannot even rocket them through the Student Hat Rehash). The Advanced org … [Read more...]

2015
A Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year to everyone who gathers around this internet water cooler. Tony Ortega has been summarizing the events of 2014 over the past 10 days or so on his blog. It has been a seismic year in the scientology world. But I believe it is just a warm up for what is to come in 2015. I think it is safe to say that the church of scientology confronts an uncertain and stressful future. And it is not due to the great forces of evil that are lined up against it, ready to persecute the poor saviors of this sector of the universe. It is because they have … [Read more...]
More Massive International Contraction
This is a report sent in by Peter Bonyai. He wrote a book I highly recommend about his years in Scientology and the Sea Org in Hungary that I covered in a blog post entitled Money, Power, Servitude. Peter keeps tabs on the goings on with scientology in Hungary and has some news on that front that indicates all is not so rosy in the straight up and vertical, 47X expansion world of scientology. OTL Central Europe (also known as OTL Hungary), the local Sea Org unit in Budapest, will be dissolved in the next few weeks. They have already vacated the building they rented (I am sure … [Read more...]
Disconnection — The Play
2015 is kicking off in grand style. Allen Barton's new play opens on 24 January, the evening before the premiere of Alex Gibney's documentary at Sundance. Anyone who does not know Allen, he is a highly acclaimed playwright (I include at the end of this posting some of the many kudos for his last play). You may recognize his name from this story on Tony Ortega's blog about Mario Fenninger. Allen has translated his experience into a new play which promises to be a tour de force. This is what Allen has to say about it: DISCONNECTION was inspired directly by my experience w … [Read more...]

Masters of MES Not doing so well on the Time part. These are two of the four invitations received on the SAME DAY by a single person. Two for the 7:00pm version of the event and two for the 7:30 version -- both at the Ft Harrison because apparently they can no longer fill Ruth Eckerd. Gavin Potter. Again. David Miscavige's clone is back to teach you once again how to make money to give to the church. I bet he attracted a massive crowd in Inglewood. Talk about a fish out of water.... The dianetics volcano and 47X expansion graph This is … [Read more...]
