Foundation for a Drug Free World — Scientology Front Group

November 25, 2020 By Mike Rinder 19 Comments

One of scientology's most successful front groups has roped in another beauty contest winner, and hit upon a new way of gaining apparent credibility. Foundation for a Drug Free World has had some success in infiltrating a number of organizations, particularly through the work of Meghan Fialkoff. She has been covered a number of times at Tony Ortega's blog -- one article here. She is a star in the world of scientology. She was awarded an IAS Freedom medal. She is featured on scientology tv and in Freedom magazine. Many of the people she gets on board have no idea their participation … [Read more...]

Close Down Scientology TV — L. Ron Hubbard Says So

November 22, 2020 By Mike Rinder 27 Comments

This is an email sent around to scientologists recently by one of the bubble zealots. The words of LRH are sacred. I don’t think they even read them before they pass them on half the time. They know they will look smart and get agreement if they quote LRH. So they send out anything and everything. And include the exact source reference -- something from the 50's is valid today simply because it's "important data by LRH." Everything LRH ever said is "important data." Now, the truth of what he says about being bombarded by “heavy particles,” by even a cathode ray tube TV is debatable. I am … [Read more...]

What’s Up With Scientology TV?

August 27, 2020 By Mike Rinder 60 Comments

STAND League makes a big deal out of the "ratings" of The Aftermath and A&E. Still at it more than a year after the last episode aired. This is one of their recent headlines, exhorting Disney to "pull the plug" on A&E.   The hypocrites at STAND proclaim "the audience has spoken and they reject hate speech"... Actually, the audience spoke and made The Aftermath the biggest hit A&E had when we were airing -- though Live PD had higher audience numbers, The Aftermath was their "prestige" show. Emmy nominations across 4 years for 3 seasons and numerous other awards … [Read more...]

This is Scientology Social Distancing?

April 8, 2020 By Mike Rinder 43 Comments

Here is an email forwarded to me from the VM's in LA. They are pitching to get "supplies" for the disaster, but attach a photo showing a cluster of VM's loading (or unloading) stuff... They are not 6 feet apart. They are not even 2 feet apart. Are they really meaning to advertise they are not maintaining the mandated social distancing? Is this an old photo because they actually dont have anything to take shots of? What is going on here? And I note, they are pushing scientologyTV "It's Time to Rediscover the Human Soul" which no doubt expounds on Hubbard's theories that ONLY the soul … [Read more...]

Scientology’s Decade

January 7, 2020 By Mike Rinder 60 Comments

Dan Sherman conjured up a verbal orgasm of gushing babble to hype the sheeple at the scientology New Year's Celebration. No need to attend the event, you can read all about it at scientology.org in 10 minutes and spare yourself the pain of  "Standing O" calisthenics every time Dear Leader actually completes a run-on sentence. At the outset, let's remember that the "turn of the decade/century" event in 1999 was held at the LA Sports Arena -- a FAR larger venue than the Shrine Auditorium. Given the unprecedented, massive, straight up and vertical expansion they claim to have … [Read more...]

Scientology Attempting to Revise Clearwater History

October 26, 2019 By Mike Rinder 38 Comments

After Tracey McManus' bombshell article dropped on 20 October, scientology immediately began their efforts to revise history. The next day, Freedom magazines started popping up all over the city. I wrote an article addressing some of the falsehoods Scientology BS Grows Deeper Then they began trying to make a dent in the social media world to cast the article as a bigoted assault on scientology and highlight the wonderful contributions they make to Clearwater. Freedom magazine has a twitter account @Freedommag and on October 21 they began sending out tweets. This is the tweet that is pinned … [Read more...]

Curious About Scientology TV Rankings?

February 17, 2019 By Mike Rinder 82 Comments

There is some mystery surrounding how many people watch scientologyTV. Of course, there are no numbers available from normal audience tracking services as they are not selling ads, so they're not subscribing. It's convenient, as no doubt the numbers would be appalling. But two things make this of interest. They are spending a LOT of money to promote their "TV channel" with ads on the Super Bowl and Grammies and billboards plugging it (it is literally the ONLY thing the ad tells people to do -- visit scientology.tv). Every one of the thousands of remaining scientologist on earth are … [Read more...]

Cult Shopping Network Desperation

October 30, 2018 By Mike Rinder 94 Comments

The Cult Shopping Network (aka ScientologyTV) seems to be in desperate straits. The Flag OT Committee is begging for help to try to bolster the failure. They need to know right now if all members have "gotten others to watch," "downloaded the App," "forwarded links to non-scientologists," and "invited people to attend showings." Apparently their advertising on TV, all over the internet and on billboards isn't having the desired impact. So they will use the people that they know they can get to comply (those damn wogs are dictated by their reactive minds and are anti-survival so they … [Read more...]

Freewinds Fail Part XXVII

October 24, 2018 By Mike Rinder 92 Comments

OK, this is top priority for OT VII's and VII's. Get people to watch ScientologyTV! What could possibly be more important than this at the top of the Bridge... Times have NEVER been this exciting. Never. It will blow you away. Really? This is what the head of the top org in scientology is concerned about? Not the fact that they have not even made 5000 OT VIIIs in 30 years of trying? That the pinnacle of scientology is unable to apply the ONLY workable administrative tech on earth and is routinely empty -- they cannot find enough people on the entirety of planet earth to want the … [Read more...]
