Thursday Funnies

October 31, 2019 By Mike Rinder 41 Comments

JAW at it again? "Superfan" John Alex Wood elicited a "Fuck scientology" from Eric Idle. Perhaps the Pythons will have something to say about this?   Well, not sure about best... But certainly poorest.   How sad... His life was a mess. So he moved his family to Columbus to join staff. No doubt with promises of a place to say and good pay. Expect he will reach out to the Aftermath Foundation in about 6 weeks...   Wow, what an honor This is actually a thing?   Erm, what about "Done Sir"? That was last month. All … [Read more...]

Thursday Funnies

September 19, 2019 By Mike Rinder 75 Comments

200 and counting... And absolutely nothing to show for it!   Orgs as humanitarians... They just HAVE to keep fundraising. Wonder when they will ever return to trying to sell and deliver auditing and training?   How amazing is this? They are actually doing construction. Like this is some news. I guess compared to Battle Creek, or Albuquerque it's pretty special. An update on drywall installation and not a word about anything Dianetics or Scientology related.   This is what they are shooting for... "Upstat" but empty is their … [Read more...]

Orlando Hype

May 15, 2018 By Mike Rinder 114 Comments

This is the headline scientology has on their website announcing the "new" org in Orlando. A STAR BURSTS IN “THE CITY BEAUTIFUL” AS A RIBBON FALLS ON THE NEW CHURCH OF SCIENTOLOGY Complete gibberish. And it goes on for paragraphs, starting with this: A “Magic Kingdom” of a metropolitan region where enchantment is routine, the surreal is real and stars are wished upon, the “Theme Park Capital of the World” is entirely unique. Home to wonderlands such as Walt Disney World, SeaWorld Orlando, Universal Studios and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter among many more, Orlando’s massive … [Read more...]

Tampa Fail

February 27, 2018 By Mike Rinder 90 Comments

Tampa "ideal St Hill size" org -- the model, the org that raised the bar -- has put out a new video. This org is constantly touted as THE best Class V org on earth. Of course, it should be. It is propped up by Flag. Many of it's staff are children of scientologists that live in the area or scientologists trying to be eligible for OT VII but they don't have a lot of money to give to the IAS so they "contr9ibute" this way. Tampa is also where Flag sends all the people it refuses for service. Anyone with a medical condition or dubious history. Nobody tells them they will not be eligible … [Read more...]

Ideal Missions – Ocala Fail

February 12, 2018 By Mike Rinder 125 Comments

Scientology are exposing themselves again. Years ago, the Ocala Mission was opened with great fanfare as the first "Ideal" mission. It has been promoted this way since. I visited this Mission some time after it was declared ideal and the Hungarian receptionist was unable to help me when I asked some questions about Dianetics and told me to come back on Tuesday evening (it was a Saturday afternoon as I recall) when the Mission ED would be there and that he could help. There wasn't anyone else in the place. Now this: They don't have the staff to be "ideal" -- apparently they don't … [Read more...]

Ideal Org News

June 26, 2017 By Mike Rinder 93 Comments

Remember all the promotion that "Tampa is going double St Hill size"? They pushed this heavily for a LONG time. Well, apparently they are going backwards -- they are not even SINGLE St Hill size... Still need 38 more staff. This is one of the very first ideal orgs. They have a staff composed mostly of Flag public family members. A lot of the public they service are the rejects that Flag will not allow in their buildings and the children of Flag public. Q: If Tampa Org cannot make it to St Hill size after 12+ years, in a massive building in the ONLY area of Tampa that has … [Read more...]

Scientology and Reason

March 25, 2017 By Mike Rinder 65 Comments

Another article from our old friend Terra Cognita Scientology and Reason – or Reasonableness Another big Scientology catchword is “reasonableness.” Loosely defined, reasonableness is the condition of being reasonable—which on the surface, seems like a good trait. To reason means to think logically; to form conclusions, judgments, or inferences from facts or premises; to conclude or infer. According to Random House, the word reasonable means, “in accord with reason or sound judgement; logical; capable of rational behavior, decision, etc.” LRH put his own spin on the word. From the … [Read more...]

“Fastest-Growing Religion in the 21st Century” Debunked

January 16, 2017 By Mike Rinder 144 Comments

This is the report on how scientology is "making planetary clearing a reality" from the MODEL-nearly double SH Size-Ideal Org in Tampa. This is the best of the best. Where all Flag public go to hide from the FSO regges, where the children of the "huge" scientology field are sent to begin their careers of dedication to the church by joining staff, where you can theoretically get your OT Levels for free at Flag by just joining staff there and where all the rejects from Flag are sent to do courses. Yes, that org - propped up by Flag and held out as the shining beacon of Class V … [Read more...]

Scientology and The Bank

January 14, 2017 By Mike Rinder 324 Comments

By our regular guest contributor Terra Cognita. Scientology and The Bank One of L. Ron Hubbard’s more intriguing —some would say revolutionary—concepts was compartmentalizing the mind into two separate units: the analytical; and the reactive. He defined the reactive mind as, “a portion of a person’s mind which works on a totally stimulus-response basis, which is not under his volitional control, and which exerts force and power of command over his awareness, purposes, thoughts, body and actions. Stored in the reactive mind are engrams, and here we find the single source of aberrations and … [Read more...]

Thursday Funnies

November 17, 2016 By Mike Rinder 58 Comments

Reverend Freddie Firing Em Up in the Fatherland Raise your havingness so you can give your money to me. Why does anyone care what he has to say about Havingness?   It's a Celebration Until the regges greet you at the door..   Preventing the world from being destroyed   Now THAT'S a Success Story! Totally vague and totally meaningless. But eh, let's publish it anyway like it's really good!   Not So Mighty My Mammy The letter B is completed! 2 down only 24 to go...   Big turnout This is the org LRH can count on. And … [Read more...]
