Saturday is Terra Cognita day... Twisted Policy Why have so many of LRH’s Scientology policies been twisted to the point where they do more harm than good? Did the man consciously intend that these policies be used for evil purposes? Did he write them expressly to harm mankind? To exploit others? Was this all some elaborate scheme to make himself rich? Did he intentionally include material in these policies that would inflict hurt and damage? Did he really plan it all out this way? Examples abound of polices that were horribly twisted and misapplied over the years: conditions; d … [Read more...]
Regraded Being
Regraded Being is on a one week hiatus. I asked if there was an earlier edition the great cartoonist thought worthy of repeating. This one, from January 2015 was a particular favorite (and was way back when Regraded Being was part of the Thursday Funnies). It is particularly timely as Miscavige is off now for his well-earned annual scuba-diving trip on the Freewinds. … [Read more...]
Thursday Funnies
The massive crowd showed up This is the report on the much touted "briefing" by Ed Parkin of OSA Int, the "head" of the "Stand League." Couldn't even round up 20 people in this "ideal org" including staff! But they did have a 3 year old attend. Alfraudie is at it again... Out hustling for commissions, explaining how WTH is "uplifting society." Just for old time's sake... Would not want anyone to think the Moneywinds has slowed down on their obsession with making money. These are sent in EVERY week. Big News!! Of course, nothing about … [Read more...]
What Does an Ideal Org Mean?
Well, here is a new promo piece about Ideal Orgs and there is no mention of anything related to scientology. No mention of auditors made. Releases. Clears. No mention of helping people off drugs. Or doing anything. Just collecting money! Remember -- this org IS NOT MOVING. THEY ARE STAYING IN THE SAME BUILDING. So, what are they waiting for? It would seem their plan is to begin "Clearing Austin" after they collect another 7 million and then finish "renovating" their existing building. Nothing like "having to have before you can do" which has become the mantra of scientology, … [Read more...]
How to Slow Boil a Frog
Another provocative essay from Brian Lambert. MILESTONES (LIES) THAT BUILT MY SCIENTOLOGY PERSONALITY: HOW TO SLOW BOIL A FROG This essay seeks to remember and reveal, for myself, the building blocks (words of Ron and experiences in the group) that built my mindset whereby clearing the planet (delusion) and selling Scientology (Ron's suitcases to Luxembourg) became more important than loyalty to family, personal nurturing, acquiring life skills, loyalty to friends and getting a “wog" education. Moments when I gave my trust to Ron. Basics on the chain that creates believing. At some p … [Read more...]
Ideal Org Fail Chapter 327
13 years of massive international expansion" generated by the "ideal org program" has not seen the orgs in these cities make it to ideal Battle Creek* Boston Detroit* Columbus Chicago* Long Island Philadelphia* Orlando Puerto Rico New Haven* And not a SINGLE org in the entirety of the Eastern Unites States has achieved the size of "old St Hill" (which by definition is the "make-break" point -- below which orgs are unviable and staff are not paid well according to LRH). This includes the "ideal orgs" in NYC, Washington DC, Buffalo, Cincinnati, Atlanta and Miami (Tampa is part of Flag … [Read more...]
The Bestest, Most Monumentalest Event Ever Ever
It's Saturday, it must be time to hear from Terra Cognita again... The Bestest, Most Monumentalest Event Ever Ever The longer I stayed in Scientology, the more I hated going to events. When I first got into Scientology at my local org, events meant everyone getting off course to listen to a Scientology celebrity talk about a piece of LRH tech. And we students weren’t even expected to make up the time! The speakers were spontaneous, funny, and full of “ARC.” They encouraged feedback from the audience and everyone had a great time. Nothing was scripted. The events weren’t filmed. There wa … [Read more...]

Saving the Galaxy Giving money to buy a building is the height of humanitarianism... Conspiracy Theories... It's not JUST the psychs. It's also the bankers. Politicians. Psychologists. Government. Media. Ex-members... and more. Should be exciting. Saving black families road show. Knowing who you can trust according to the NOI. Wow. Enough time This is being held in a "mission" that is in a printer's shop in an industrial area. Sure it's going to be a blowout! The elite If you are "doing it" how come your org STILL isnt St … [Read more...]
London Is Calling (for your money)
The disaster capitalists are at it again... They are helping the victims of terror by giving them (not the terrorists) copies of the WTH. I am sure they will find the precept about not murdering someone really helpful. Once again, the insanity of this is that THIS IS WHAT THE IAS CLAIMS IT IS FOR. You give us your money and we use it to help at every disaster all over the world. Yet, here they are, asking for money to get WTH booklets -- that they are charging .66p (85 cents US) for EACH! They COST them no more than 20 cents. Not only is this NOT a serious enough disaster for the … [Read more...]
The World’s Fastest Growing Religion ;)
Scientology has routinely claimed it is the "World's Fastest Growing Religion" - in fact, this video is shown in EVERY scientology org as an introduction to the subject (it is even listed on IMDB). Below is an interesting article forwarded to me by one of our Special Correspondents. It will come as no surprise that scientology doesn't rate a mention. It is not even included as an "Other" when that includes: African traditional religions, Chinese folk religions, Native American religions, Australian aboriginal religions, Baha’i faith, Jainism, Shintoism, Sikhism, Taoism, T … [Read more...]
Line Snapping Fun
Another post from my friend and former shipmate, Gary Reisdorf. Agadir Line Snapping Fun I was just leaving the most forward room on the Apollo, the foc'sle, when I heard the commotion. The most forward cabin was the Deck Force’s storage room, called the Bosun’s Locker, where we stored all of the paint and ropes we used when working on the ship. Being a Deckhand, I started my day preparing paint, paintbrushes and rollers for a day’s painting and ended the day cleaning brushes and rollers, all in the Bosun’s Locker. Being the most forward part of the ship, it was away from seniors, office … [Read more...]
Treating the Mentally Ill: Scientology vs Psychiatry
Treating the Mentally Ill: Scientology vs Psychiatry I always had a hard time wrapping my mind around Scientology’s policy on dealing with the mentally ill. L. Ron Hubbard wrote that Scientology was for the able and that those not up to standards need not apply. He and his church didn’t have the time or energy to deal with the depressed, the neurotic, or the insane. Saving the planet before it exploded was hard, grueling work. Dealing with crazy people was a distraction. Not until sufficient numbers had gone “Clear” would Scientology handle these people. Psychiatry and Drugs … [Read more...]
An Ideal Org
I was in San Diego last weekend and swung by the new "ideal org." Here is what scientology displays on their website, presenting this as "California Dreaming Becomes Reality": Here is the non-dreaming reality: It was 6pm on Saturday -- Memorial Day weekend. Just two blocks away, there were literally thousands of people in the streets going to restaurants and bars in the Gaslamp District. They literally overflowed the sidewalks and spilled onto the traffic. This is not an org that lacks nearby body traffic. The entire ground floor is windows (used to be parking … [Read more...]
