This email was forwarded to me. Southcoast Mission is one of the few "ideal" missions and is touted as one of the "best" scientology missions on earth. Why are they ashamed of even mentioning the word scientology in their email? Of course, everyone knows that the reputation of scientology is horrendous. They have told so many lies and had so many abuses exposed to the world that nobody wants to associate with them. But this is NOT what L. Ron Hubbard says. He proclaims people love REAL scientology -- the "Hubbard Brand" and flock to the real thing. Seems things have changed. He put … [Read more...]
Scientology: Champions of Hypocrisy
Over the past couple of weeks we have watched Miscavige go to war with Winter the dolphin. What has been amazing is the breathtaking hypocrisy they have put on display for all the world to witness. The Clearwater Marine Aquarium (CMA), home to Winter of the Dolphin Tale movies, is a highly regarded, completely transparent non-profit organization that does wonderful work rescuing marine wildlife (like Winter), but also supports children and other programs. The CMA is the single biggest draw for tourists to Clearwater outside of "the beach." Miscavige, as is his style, threw a hissy fit … [Read more...]
The Fallacy of Exchange in Scientology
The latest in the series of Saturday morning conversation starters from Terra Cognita The Fallacy of Exchange in Scientology Ron Hubbard’s theory of exchange is not only a central component of Scientology financial policy but is a pervasive consideration in just about every aspect of a Scientologist’s life. Members are taught early-on that being “in-exchange,” is imperative. That what they give must be commensurate with what they receive. Giving more than one receives—“exchange in abundance”—is even better. Giving less than one receives—“out-exchange”—is an overt—a misdeed, a moral transgress … [Read more...]
Regraded Being
Thursday Funnies
This represents expansion as a being? Words and pictures total disconnect. Rounding them up... Not enough people to generate even a small crowd in "mighty" My Mammy, so they will fly them in. Think about that -- investing $40 million for a new facility even though they cannot scrape together a thousand people to attend the opening. Rocketship? Yep. Everyone. Should amount to 1500 total for the entire US... Blast from the past Wow - Kevin was a Sea Org member in the mid 70's at Flag... That's some serious progress up the Bridge in 40 … [Read more...]
Scientology Clearwater Hissy Fit
The Tampa NBC affiliate website covers the latest news in the Scientology v. Clearwater war of 2017. Here is how the article begins: CLEARWATER, Fla. (WFLA) — The Church of Scientology has declared an economic war on Clearwater Marine Aquarium and the stakes are high — $26 million in tourism tax funding that the church wants to block at Tuesday’s Pinellas County Commission meeting. The church’s anger stems from a land purchase dispute involving a dirt parking lot next to Clearwater City Hall. The aquarium recently defied the church by selling that land to the City of Clearwater on April 20 … [Read more...]
Form Letters
Desperation in the bubble. The "senior" officials of the senior orgs of scientology are sending out form letters begging people to show up at "special briefings" about how orgs are going to "clear their zone"/"go St Hill size now." Wait, I thought that with the ribbon being yanked on "ideal orgs" there comes automatic "10X expansion"? Inglewood has been "ideal" now for years. SFO for much longer than that. Tens of millions of tax free dollars expended... And they are NOT clearing their zones? And are NOT St Hill size? Dear Leader has been selling the ideal orgs strategy for 15 years … [Read more...]
The 10X “Ideal Org” Expansion
The expansion is R eally setting in at the largest Ideal Org on earth, where, a month after their glorious ribbon yanking that heralded the dawn of clearing their zone, they are taking North Hollywood by storm. Check out the amazing accomplishments they are so excited about: There are "some" new people who started on a service out of the 20 total. I guess the number was too large to actually count if you only have two fingers so they settled in "some" which sounds better than 3 "Many" people are "completing a course and resigning for more." How amazing is that? And the huge new … [Read more...]
Clearing the planet in striking distance
The endless stream of unreal babbling that comes out of the bubble is astonishing. Here is a new one that just came in. "The clearing of the planet has come in striking distance"? Really? Inglewood is "clearing it's[sic] zone" - they are not even clearing their block. In fact, I don't think they have cleared a single person this year. Not one. "How to reach Eternal Freedom FOR REAL" - riiight. So, if this is all happening, why does the Snr Case Supervisor WUS have to get people to a briefing? And what IS the real reason for holding the briefing at all? To get people … [Read more...]
The Illusion of Self-determinism in Scientology
Weekly Saturday feature from Terra Cognita The Illusion of Self-determinism in Scientology Self-determinism is a highly touted state of being in Scientology. Being self-determined is a goal of every Scientologist. “Other-determinedness”: not good. Deciding for oneself: good. “Self-determinism is that state of being wherein the individual can or cannot be controlled by his environment according to his own choice. In that state the individual has self-confidence in his control of the material universe and the organisms within it along every dynamic. He is confident about any and all abili … [Read more...]
Regraded Being
Thursday Funnies
LRH and Hawaii? Maybe it's the 75 million year old volcanoes? Packaging thetans into clusters? No words for this... Well, maybe "childish" or just "weird." How could they be so tone-deaf? Anyone in Tampa Bay knows that associating yourself with scientology is not a winning strategy. What, no SP building? That's the only building anyone is interested in... Are you ready? To give us more money. That's what it means to be "part of the team." All of Phoenix rising up the Bridge Riiight. Why don't you have your guy be a … [Read more...]
Theater of the Absurd
Scientology truly plays out like the Theater of the Absurd. This is the latest "news" from St. Louis. Good news, St Louis IS going "ideal." How do we know? Well, because they are an "unrelenting juggernaut" of course. 15 years on and they are are a juggernaut that has accomplished absolutely nothing. But as always, it's coming in the future... The only things they have to report are that there are 55 OTHER empty "ideal orgs" that total 5.8 million square feet of nothing. But hold on, those 55 other ideal orgs are making one clear every 90 minutes. Work that out and those ideal … [Read more...]
Still more “Ideal Org” BS
This is the newest pitch sent out by Clive Rabies who has now apparently abandoned his post and campaign to get 10,000 onto Solo NOTs and is assigned full time to try to assist CLO WUS to revive their moribund ideal orgs. The lies contained in this letter literally infest every sentence. ...Pasadena is going to go Saint Hill size right now!... --the Ideal Org strategy has already changed the face of Scientology... ...not only bringing many more onto The Bridge... ...but is also introducing very influential people to LRH and Scientology... etc etc etc And then a wondrous … [Read more...]
Valley Files Big Fail
Tell us it ain't so... You didn't get the FILING DONE??? OMG! After 20 years of begging, scratching and trying, using the most advanced administrative techniques ever developed on this planet, you could not get the filing done? Why didn't you allocate like $40,000 out of the $40 million you raised to pay some people minimum wage to do the filing? There are tons of people, including a lot of needy scientologists, who would have done it. This is one of the more interesting commentaries about the state of scientology today. What is MOST important is collecting money. Next most … [Read more...]
