Thursday Funnies
Bunny Rabbits and Freddie Mercury Impersonators What symbolizes ideal orgs better than this? And a trip to the Blue Mountains... Brisbane, Adelaide and Canberra will be ideal in no time. Forget about the rest of Asia and the Pacific. First? Is that a sad state of affairs if this is true? Did you see the latest census numbers from Australia where 2000 people in the whole country identify as scientologists? And three of their six orgs are still not ideal... Yeah, sure there are dozens every week Not Canada Day Graduation... Chris … [Read more...]
Cult v. Brand
Someone Someone sent this article to me recently: Is There a Difference Between a Cult and a Brand? This is the sort of positioning scientology, and Miscavige in particular, absolutely HATE. Scientology is put into the same category as Heaven's Gate, NXIVM, Rajneesh etc. and compared to Tupperware, Amway and Mary Kay... It notes that these MLMs use the same model that L. Ron Hubbard did: selling increasingly expensive courses and “technologies.” It also mentions "the ever-growing library of documentaries about Scientology." It's a growing problem for scientology. As much as they … [Read more...]
“Freedom” Magazine Very Old News
Happened to see this tweet from Freedom magazine on my Twitter feed this weekend. I thought it was a new campaign they were starting. Turns out, it's just a rehash of the last Freedom mag of any note -- released in 2019. They are still playing that same old song "we are good citizens of your fair city and we just want to get along." It's a big lie. Ws then, remains so today. I wrote about it at that time: Scientology BS Grows Deeper Scientology wants only one thing for Clearwater. What is good for scientology. They have made their intentions clear -- Clearwater is … [Read more...]
Where Did Super Power Come From?
A cache of documents that recently came into possession of Christi Gordon contain some things I had not previously seen outside the Sea Org. ED 1598 FLAG about the "Humongous Rundown" is one of them. The "Humongous Rundown" was Hubbard's 1978 solution to staff incompetence (it preceded his subsequent "breakthroughs" to solve this problem including False Purpose Rundown, Key to Life and Life Orientation Courses) -- by staff incompetence is meant the fact that staff were incapable of following Ron's orders and policies, or if by doing so things wen5 badly or stats did not climb. The … [Read more...]
Through the Bubble – Lili’s Adventures in Scientologyland Part 21
This is the twenty-first installment of the account of a journey into and out of scientology -- written by one of our long-term readers. I hope you enjoy her insights, humor and style. Lili also provided a glossary of terms. Through the Bubble - Lili’s Adventures in Scientologyland This is my quirky recollection of events. Others may remember things differently. Lingo is italicized on the first mention, capitalized after that. I’ve compressed complexities in the cult to simplify your reading pleasure. Part 21 Fear and Kindness, the One – Two Punch Josh and I shared … [Read more...]
Columbus Doing It For Chicago
So, they held the big event for Chicago in Columbus (?) and we have the full rundown in photos from the milestone occasion. Of course, in typical scientology ideal org event style, they have to have a stilt man, jugglers and Brutus the Buckeye (as well as children) to make it seem "fun," because you know the old saying "If it isn't fun, it isn't scientology." Though these days, that should probably be "If they're not asking for your money, or your life, it isn't scientology." A few thoughts of mine are interspersed among the pictures of the epic event. Over 200 … [Read more...]
Regraded Being
Thursday Funnies
Not a whole lot of funnies this week. But as always, there are some good ones! The Scam Goes On How, after 20 years, people are still turning over cash for this proven failed program is hard to fathom. Hooray for my sec check! I'm in the middle of OT VII and I got a sec check! Wow. And then I found out I was in Power! Wow. Such incredible tech!!!! But as a Solo NOTs auditor and one of the top beings in the universe, how is it that you need anyone else to clean up your OWs or tell you what condition to apply? Oh Canada... Lagging … [Read more...]
L. Ron Hubbard Has Been to Heaven: He Has the Scientific Research to Prove It
As a follow up to Ron's Saturn quote, Karen De La Carriere sent me this Source reference about heaven. Ron had really hopped on the crazy train the day he wrote this -- it's so out-there that it doesn't even appear in the current Tech Volumes. There is little wonder why -- it makes clear his claims that he "has no beef with Christianity" and thinks Jesus was a man of goodwill and that scientology is non-denominational are just more bs. Here are a few of the choice quotes (not even including the absolutely bizarre date, down to the seconds, when the "implant" occurred). He gets … [Read more...]
