Thursday Funnies

March 10, 2022 By Mike Rinder 51 Comments

Hall of Fame? An an "extraordinary" briefing on GAK Extension courses. Nothing about actual graduates.   Woohoo! Our files are current.  Or they were last week. They're probably backlogged again already. The most sophisticated administrative system in the universe....   Get Virtually Briefed... By a registrar! Haha   LRH Birthday Celebrated at graduation? Oh dear. What a downgrade.   A Must See Event! Your money will magically disappear....   All Ideal USA Can you imagine how incredible it will be?\ The USA will be … [Read more...]

Thanksgiving Funnies

November 25, 2021 By Mike Rinder 27 Comments

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone in the US. Thank you. No Thank you. No, thank you... But in the end it's only Ron that matters.   Eradicate the Reactive Mind I've got a faster, better, cheaper idea. Don't buy into the idea in the first place. In the end, they coax you into believing you created it in the first place.   Holiday Escape Rooms? They lock you in a room with a reg and see if you can get out without going bankrupt?   Big News You can bet it has something to do with you giving them your money for their holidays. That is always … [Read more...]

Thursday Funnies

November 11, 2021 By Mike Rinder 23 Comments

Lots of found parking spaces and caught the green light... There's been a pretty big devaluation of "OT phenomena"   AOLA could use some of this... Wonder why these guys who are so good aren't 10X the success of the orgs?   Instead of being on course? Oh my....   Unites? This is the big IAS event this year? Wow   The First Ideal Continent... Just Canberra, Adelaide and Brisbane to go for an ideal "Continent" -- but not a single org in India, China, Indonesia etc. Seems just a little bit of a hollow … [Read more...]

Some Funnies on Thursday

August 26, 2021 By Mike Rinder 69 Comments

Just a few of the things that have been forwarded to me recently. Some are a little old. But nothing really changes in scientology, it just gets smaller. People have been asking for Thursday Funnies to come back. It somewhat depends on what comes in. Once the pandemic hit, the volume of promotional items they sent out decreased. But it seems to be coming back now. Not sure if I will do this every Thursday, but here is an installment to satisfy the need for some humor on this topic.   "Get some of the most praised products!" Huh? And what might they be? This place is … [Read more...]

Some Funnies

May 12, 2021 By Mike Rinder 29 Comments

A few promotional items sent in over the last week. Of course, it was Mother's Day, which seemed oddly inappropriate to fall on the same day as Dianetics was published, because Dianetics reflects Hubbard's dystopian view of women -- a great deal of the book is devoted to the idea that women routinely seek to self-abort their pregnancies. Somehow, everyone supposedly has these "engrams" from their time in the womb... But it is also a reflection of the decline of scientology that "Dianetics Day" -- once one of the "big" international events where the newest Dianetics sponsored race car would … [Read more...]

Some Funnies

April 28, 2021 By Mike Rinder 41 Comments

This is a random collection of things sent in recently. There is little rhyme or reason to them.   Hubbard Logic Wrap your brain around this. So, if there is anything you disagree with in scientology it is because you haven't properly recalled what you already knew...   Roping in an Ideal Org What they are actually doing is roping in some suckers. Though at this point, I cannot imagine anyone participating in any event like this that isn't already intending to hand over some cash. The more important question. Why is the Valley OT Committee wasting time on Albuquerque … [Read more...]

Flag Graduation “Briefing Sheet”

December 2, 2014 By Mike Rinder 196 Comments

Another leak from inside the bubble. Here is the "briefing" for those who are going to be at Graduation -- and might possibly be allowed to "give their win" if "it aligns with the overall message" of this "promotional event" and as long as they DON'T use any "LRH quotes." It appears there is nothing that is beneath the "OMG, we couldn't do that, it would be horrendously crass and completely opposed to the fundamental concepts of scientology" threshhold. There is NOTHING they won't do. Thanks to COB and RTC for the incredible job of keeping the bs pure. … [Read more...]

Tony Muhammad Does Ideal Graduation

March 21, 2014 By Mike Rinder 56 Comments

LET US KNOW IF YOU CAN MAKE IT. YOU MAY ATTEND EVEN IF YOU ARE NOT CURRENTLY ON COURSE, OR ARE ON COURSE AT ANOTHER ORG. If I had seen this 10 years ago I would have taken it for a joke. This is not an "interfaith meeting". This is GRADUATION where people are supposed to "give wins from all levels of the Bridge".  The "western leader" of the Nation of Islam is the "guest speaker" and this is supposed to be good news? If there was a "guest speaker" at "graduation" one would imagine perhaps a Senior C/S or a Senior Course Supervisor or maybe even the President of the … [Read more...]

The Hype Ratchets Up

November 14, 2013 By Mike Rinder 100 Comments

A small selection of a few of the emails received by one person YESTERDAY and some key pull quotes.   It's just like they do on movie posters, except these are all about a movie nobody has SEEN. Imagine you heard someone saying this sort of stuff about a movie that they had not yet see, you would think the people saying them were barking mad. And with that, here are some of the RCS's finest parroting the Shermanspeak emanating from the Mecca: ...what will be the greatest event in Scientology history... ...whatever it is you think you know about Golden Age of Tech Phase II, in terms of … [Read more...]

Jobur Ideal Org and GAG II

November 2, 2013 By Mike Rinder 95 Comments

Maybe the release of GAG II is going to solve the spelling/typo problems that seem to be endemic within the RCS.  The old saying about not even being able to spell your own name right seems to be true, at least in the Ideal, SH Size org that is at the very dawn of a new civilization. Speaking of GAG II, the big announcement has now been made, and just in time to save the planet: GAG II is Friday 15 November through Sunday 17 November (gotta have some quality time to do this one right and hard sell all those meters and materials....) The IAS Event is Friday 29 November and the Patron's Ball … [Read more...]

This is the country that never ratified the U.N. Convention for the Rights of the Child, which is shameful.

The time has come for elected officials to pass legislation to actually protect our children from senseless gun violence. All of us failed them by letting politics and lobbyist dollars take precedence over safety.

CHILD USA mourns the loss of 19 children and two of their teachers. It is time for all of us to unite so this never happens again. We stand for laws that protect children's safety from violence including common sense gun reform.
