“No Reging”

May 16, 2020 By Mike Rinder 75 Comments

This is a bit old. I had overlooked it and then noticed "No Reging"[sic]. This is a very interesting development. John Alex Wood is still alive and kicking? Who knew? But more importantly,  I think this is an indicator the pandemic is going to have a significant long-term effect on scientology. Not only because people are not coming in and paying for services right now and are instead hiding out at home doing a $20 Extension Course, sending in a chapter every few weeks. But because this break is changing the mindset of the sheeple. It's like someone who has had a headache every … [Read more...]

There’s “Good News” in LA and Another 10,000?

April 25, 2020 By Mike Rinder 47 Comments

Well, it's always good to know that there IS good news. You can just imagine it: "Thanks to your support of the IAS [$10 million collected in the last month] we have provided disinfectant to 3 teams [and one video crew to film them before they were asked to leave] who have been bringing order in the chaos in Burkina Faso [not a peep from Pasadena or N. Hollywood]" This is how we "can be at cause over our 4th Dynamic"... They are so delusional. And more good news, apparently LA Org has decided they can get 10,000 onto extension courses. Flag has been trying to get 10,000 onto or … [Read more...]

Just How Desperate is LA Org?

January 26, 2020 By Mike Rinder 43 Comments

You likely saw the videos on Tony Ortega's site of the 2 guys ("Reckless Ben") who went into LA Org with hidden cameras. In that last video towards the end you witness the desperation of the regges to get $15 from them. It is really pretty pathetic. This is the "largest Class V org and 'model' ideal org" and they are spending time to try to convince this kid to get $15 right now with every sleazy tactic there is. I didn't think it could get more pathetically desperate than that until this recent Facebook posting was sent to me: First, I assume "Betsy" is an org staff member who is … [Read more...]

How Cool is LA Org?

January 22, 2020 By Mike Rinder 56 Comments

LA Org is the "model" for all scientology Class V level organizations -- even though Miscavige made it into a Sea Org installation. Oddly, the "model" cannot be duplicated in other places in the world and it remains the only Sea Org Class V org. There used to be another one -- St Hill Fdn in the UK that was supposed to service the "local East Grinstead public" in the Castle, but apparently Miscavige closed that down as if you enter your location as East Grinstead on scientology.org it directs you to London Org and Brighton Org. I hadn't realized he closed down that org too in his era of … [Read more...]

Thursday Funnies

The new look Crossed arms are so 2019. Holding an empty 3 ring binder is the new thing. Sure says "determined" to me?   Here today, gone tomorrow Just look at ANY of the ideal orgs that have opened and see how many of the people they touted beforehand are there today. Most of these people will never actually start, they just agree to sign up to be left alone for a while.   Big Ben! That's a lot of "secular" stuff for an organization that claims to bring more people onto the Bridge than anyone else on earth...   The Year of Bahamas … [Read more...]

An "Extravagaza" On Wednesday night. Should be a big draw. Maybe they can get the Palestinian community to show up in support...   Damning with Faint Praise This worth a promo piece?   They will feed you... If you just agree to sit through this stuff. It's like one of those Time Share offers or "your cemetery plot awaits, come for a free dinner at Rudy Tuesday's to find out how to secure it."   What ideal org alliance? I thought California was done? And does this poster make ANY sense? You could be Olivia Newton-John? Why? How would that … [Read more...]

The “Model” Ideal Org

July 10, 2019 By Mike Rinder 91 Comments

4 years ago, David Miscavige turned LA Org into the "model" ideal org by importing 200 Sea Org Members and turning it into a "Sea Org" org (specifically not the model for orgs around the world...) This is supposed to be the shining example of what a Class V organization could be (if manned with 200 SO members)... They have just sent out an announcement celebrating 4 years of model idealiness. The idealiest org of all has 200 staff working a Sea Org schedule, 9am - 11pm 7 days a week and produces 665 "Clears and NED Case Completions" in 4 years.. Let's just call this 600 Clears … [Read more...]

Not Making Planetary Clearing A Reality

October 3, 2018 By Mike Rinder 75 Comments

OK - let’s take a moment and take the planetary Clearing challenge once again. LRH proclaims it's possible, so it must be true right? Don't these amazing "no numbers" graphs prove it? They show them at every event and the sheeple seem to lap them up. Let's ask the experts: How DO you get 327 million Americans to cross the Bridge? How DO you Clear the planet? (not just "make Planetary Clearing a reality") Well, according to scientology postulated math, all you need do is make every org ideal. So, let’s look at the BEST ideal org. The “model” that was touted repeatedly by True … [Read more...]

Old Scientology Allies — the LAPD

August 7, 2017 By Mike Rinder 75 Comments

Here they go again. The LAPD has a long history of cozying up to scientology. Wonder why they didn't say this was IN THE PARKING LOT OF LA ORG? They just list it at the bottom as one of the sponsors. But you have to love the copyright notice "protecting" the Dianetics symbol and "scientology cross" that do not even appear on the piece... … [Read more...]

@LeahRemini @azhlynne @UltioetVeritas @MikeRinder As fellow "Never-Ins" we enjoyed this latest podcast episode with Stefani. It's mind boggling that Scientology has tax exempt status. Hoping @TheJusticeDept tunes in as more and more people speak out.
