Jim Dincalci
My dear friend Janis Gillham Grady let me know that our mutual friend, Jim Dincalci, passed away this evening. I am publishing Janis' eulogy, but also wanted to add a few comments of my own. I became friends with Jim when we were both assigned to a short unit from the Apollo on the island of Madeira in 1974. We were the only two males out of the 7 members of the unit, so we shared an apartment. This week we talk to filmmaker Aaron Kaufman. He is known for producing Robert Rodriguez films, and more recently for directing the documentary on Jehovah's Witnesses for Vice TV Crusaders. As you can see below, the Scientology Facebook Police are still out in force. I wonder if these people get up on the morning and put brown shirts and jodhpurs, pin on their official collar insignia and report for duty with the click of their heels? The fools at STAND either: a) Believe everyone is so stupid they don't see right through them, or b) Are only interested in communicating to their KoolAid drinking bubble-dwellers who accept anything and everything they say at face value as if it is unalterable truth, even if it contradicts something they said in the previous sentence. Where Have All The Humanitarians Gone?
They have been trying to beat the dead horses that are the scientology public for money to buy empty buildings since Miscavige launched his "ideal org" boondoggle in 2003. More than 20 years later, this org has not managed to round up 50 "Humanitarians." I have no idea how many of these people are from Brisbane. Or even Australia.
