This is really quite sad. Apart from exclamation compulsive disorder, this is an IDEAL ORG. One of the big, prominent ones (as opposed to say Cambridge or Malmo or Nashville or LV or Dallas or Padova or Brussels etc etc). It is worth 3 exclamation points that they have 12 scheduled to start GAG II. OMG. Twelve SCHEDULED. I guess they are going to pack out those courserooms built to hold 500 students.... And there are "several people" playing the game to get "5 starts." That is iumpressive. But the really sad part is the begging to please give us money so we can get paid because "he (LRH … [Read more...]
Less Than Enthusiastic Response To GAG II
A report from one of our Bay area Special Correspondents with some perspective on the recent events replayed in the local orgs. Not a lot of detail about the contents of the events, but an interesting overview of the state of these "ideal" orgs and their public. One thing is certain -- I recently listened to an audio recording from one of these events -- the Shermanspeak has reached absolutely mind-numbing levels. Voldemort never utters a simple sentence. Long, run on, convoluted wordplay peppered with "if that wasnt enough" and "not withstanding" and "not to mention" and all manner of … [Read more...]
What’s Wrong With Scientology.org?
The masters of the internet and cutting edge technology (see Warehouse VIII and the state-of-the-art paper printing plant) seem to have a rough time keeping their website relevant. Let alone problems with credibility. They finally just put up an announcement about the opening of the Ideal Org in Kaohsuing. Though it might be best to just leave the Ideal Org thing to die an unlamented death. This is the 4th "Ideal Org" this year -- though the first since the first clear city of Portland in May, preceded by the bust in Pretoria and the non-event in Cambridge Ontario. This is a big thumbs … [Read more...]
Jobur “Ideal” Org Moar Big Fail
Just because I like the no nonsense FACTS I am reprinting this article. This sort of coverage is a hallmark of the new South African blog. If you are not checking it out regularly, you are missing some good stuff. South Africa is predictably going to be the first area that will be lost to corporate Scientology. It is like a ship that has left the dock and the "missionaires" are trying to get it tied back down by throwing mud, hoping it will stick to the side and weigh it down so much it will sink. Lots luck with that. I guess the Mission briefing sort of missed the real scene.... Don't … [Read more...]
Real Stats From Inside The Bubble – It’s Grim
While the meaningless hype has hit the airwaves about the stupendous, amazing, incredible feats of the most important, dauntless, defiant, deviant force for planetary salivation ever in the history of everness -- We Are The IAS, hip hip hooray for ourselves -- there is something else that landed in my inbox that is far more interesting. Pasadena has been the poster child for asserting the instant straight up and vertical expansion that follows the ribbon crashing down on the assembled staff and hired extras of an Ideal Org "grand opening." From Craig and Sally Jensen to Tim and Rona Bowles, … [Read more...]
They Would Rather Forget This — the Big Ideal Org Lie
This is a fascinating look into the ever-shifting sands of corporate Scientology hype. J. Swift pulled this up from the Wayback Machine. I am sure a certain individual who cannot be named would rather it remain buried and forgotten. But unfortunately the small handful of bitter defrocked apostate unemployed bloggers on the fringes of the internet don't listen.... Back in 2004/5, COB's Ideal Orgs were the "big thing." GAG II was just a twinkle in the great man's eye at the time. Ideal Orgs were THE THING. Seattle ED Mark Arnold sent around a briefing to urge his people to get behind the … [Read more...]
What Does COB Say?
This really requires no comment. But I increasingly think many Corporate Scientologists do now believe that Miscavige is the reincarnation of LRH. What He says has the same force of command as anything from Hubbard. John P Capitalist sent this to me and also noted that the constant highlighting of the failure to complete Santa Barbara, Mountain View and San Diego (let alone Valley) has got to be a negative message. Surely it is striking people as just a little strange that in this period of massive international expansion, and 10 years into the "Ideal Org Program" that there are … [Read more...]
A Man Walked Into A Church of Scientology….
This is the story of what happened to someone who went into the New York "Ideal Org" this week. Not only was the place empty, he found out where they are getting "Sea Org recruits" from these days.... Captain Miscavige should be mighty proud of this, one of his most important "Ideal Orgs" (most important because Tom Cruise has an apartment in NY City, so might need to come in for something someday....) Hey Mr. Rinder, This past Monday, I visited the Times Square Church of Scientology org which is located near the Paramount Hotel on West 46th Street in Midtown Manhattan. I went in … [Read more...]
Scientology — The Art of Cognitive Dissonance
Somewhat random thoughts after returning from an out-of-town trip. Cognitive dissonance has reached an art form within the walls of the RCS bubble. Cognitive dissonance is described this way: Mental conflict that occurs when beliefs or assumptions are contradicted by new information. The concept was introduced by the psychologist Leon Festinger (1919–89) in the late 1950s. He and later researchers showed that, when confronted with challenging new information, most people seek to preserve their current understanding of the world by rejecting, explaining away, or avoiding the new information … [Read more...]
Günther Völler Writes To Captain Miscavige
To Mr. David Miscavige COB RTC ----------------------------------- Günther Völler Public Scientologist 13 November 2013 My name is Günther Völler. I became a member of the Church of Scientology in 1987 at Bern Org, later at Zurich Org, Switzerland. From the very first moment, I developed an intense interest in reading, studying, learning and applying the teachings of Mr. L. Ron Hubbard. I wanted to go up The Bridge, and I wanted to help others do so as well. Throughout the years, I have taken many courses and … [Read more...]
