Dr. Natalie Feinblatt appeared in the finale episode of The Aftermath. She recently published this article: 10 Tips for Leaving the Church of Scientology. (As a note, the byline is credited to Kristie Plantinga who appears to be in charge of Natalie's website marketing). No matter who wrote it, the piece contains helpful advice (and couple of factual errors about celebrities who have been involved). There are a number of parts to the article -- these are the subheads. Why people leave Scientology Signs you might be ready to quit Scientology Understanding the process of leaving the … [Read more...]

David Minkoff is Bringing REAL Freedom to Israel…
How do we get Israel out of suppression and reactive mind slavery? This is the doctor who lost his medical license as a result of his failure/incompetence in treating Lisa McPherson. Now he is going to save Israel. This is of course not the first time Scientology has claimed they would bring peace to the Middle East and solve all of Israel's problems. Typically they have done fundraising to distribute WTH to "bring peace" and touted the great "successes" they have had in doing so. They were wrong then, just as they are wrong now. This is an earlier post from my blog about this very … [Read more...]
Scientology and the “Chaos Merchants”
Hubbard designated the media "Chaos Merchants" who are to be harassed and attacked because they publish "lies" about scientology. Ever since he failed to persuade a Saturday Evening Post reporter to write a glowing piece about him in the early 60's, the media have been enemies. In Ron's Journal 67 he specifically states: "Our enemies on this planet are less than twelve men. They are members of the Bank of England and other higher financial circles. They own and control newspaper chains, and they are, oddly enough, directors in all the mental health groups in the world." Of … [Read more...]
Another Phony “Recognition” for Hubbard
This a mystery wrapped in a puzzle. It's like one of those "how many things are wrong with this picture" games. Let's start with the letterhead. United States Raiders Search and Rescue Special Operations sounds like some official organization. Here is what comes up in a Google search of the term: I don't think there is any doubt that this intentionally sounds so similar to the elite Marine Corps Special Forces -- and it is not that. The logo they use with eagle symbol evokes "US military" or "US government" -- though the 2023 is a bit of a giveaway. … [Read more...]
The Big Lie of Scientology “Arbitration”
I have previously written a number of blog posts about the lie that is scientology's so-called "arbitration" -- a procedure more akin to the Spanish Inquisition than to modern day justice. They operate on the same principles as those inquisitors -- we will torture you until you finally break and give in to what we dictate is the righteous path to be followed. You are not permitted to disagree with us. You are not permitted to even speak or offer evidence in your defense. And we will continue to torture you for as long as we see fit, you are completely at our whim. You can read some … [Read more...]
Thursday Funnies
It's "Epic" Like everything that ever happens in scientology. Watch videos of some ribbon cuttings, which will be shown at the next event and they will then tell you to come watch a video of the event too... This is what is known as making best use of very limited resources. Power Couples! They even have online registEration. Why did Drew and Maria Robb leave the SO? More fake religiosity They do it with Christian holidays, and take the opportunity to cash in on Jewish ones too. $50??? Wash, rinse, repeat... This … [Read more...]
Scientology “Critical Thinking”
A while ago someone noted there was a blog post on the Stand League site claiming scientology is based on critical thinking. As they noted: Pure comedy gold!!! I looked it up and it’s still there. Here is just some of the bs they peddle: “Critical thinking is the process of analyzing information to determine the amount of truth in any statement, assumption, opinion, conclusion, thought or situation. It is the skill at the core of L. Ron Hubbard’s discoveries and the effectiveness, usefulness and success of Scientology.” "Once a Scientologist begins to gain critical thinking skills, they st … [Read more...]
More Lying Hype: Hubbard, Scientology and the Cradle of Humankind
Another hype-filled "press release" from scientology presents a completely false picture of scientology and L. Ron Hubbard. They peg this announcement of a scientologyTV show about Joburg org to "the cradle of civilization" -- making it seem that scientology actually aligns with this concept of evolution. It goes on to explain how the new episode covers Johannesburg's history, "including its singular distinction as "The Cradle of Humankind"—the place where humanity started." It is little wonder they don't mention what scientologists actually believe, described in Hubbard's bizarre h … [Read more...]
Why Scientology Hates CHILD USA
CHILD USA has been involved in two specific events scientology cannot tolerate, and more broadly in successful efforts to give victims voices. First: The Executive Director of Child USA, Marci Hamilton, a constitutional law professor, successfully argued in the California Appeals Court to overturn the ruling that would have forced Danny Masterson's victims to submit to scientology's sham arbitration. It was the first loss scientology had suffered in its efforts to suppress all attempts to get justice by those it abused. Second: CHILD USA supported and assisted in the passage of the … [Read more...]
ScientologyTV — A Spectacular Flop
A new press release from scientology breathlessly announces the "new season" of ScientologyTV. Though it is a little odd, they seem caught in the "preparing" and "gearing up" as ScientologyTV is apparently just "setting the stage" for a new season? Whatever that means. This has truly been one of the biggest cash drains in the history of scientology. They not only spend millions creating their slick propaganda pieces, they also PAY to have this dross available on DirecTV and other providers. It is costing a huge amount of money, to reach NO audience. They have never provided … [Read more...]
