Haven't had a chance to get this out yet. It perhaps encapsulates the reality within the scientology bubble better than anything. It is not only full of typos and spelling mistakes (Narcannon?), it is full of "scientology-think" - a strain of illogic that is sometimes hard to believe. And as an added bonus, it has a generous helping of shermanspeak ("the moment we synchronize with eternity" - perhaps it's some sort of get-together on infinity's porch?). You can read it for yourself, but don't spend a lot of time trying to make sense of the nonsensical. It will make you insane. Some … [Read more...]
The Truth About Scientology Staff
You may have seen something I put in the Thursday Funnies about how Tampa "model ideal double St Hill size" org is working on making it viable to be on staff. This is a another of the whopper lies in scientology -- somehow these organizations that charge people hundreds of dollars AN HOUR for services, do not have money to give a decent wage to staff members. Most live on income levels that are unsustainable without: a) a spouse or someone else who supports them or b) they work a second and sometimes third job in their "spare" time -- usually for a local scientologist. This working on … [Read more...]
Scientology — Wrong Source
Scientologists pride themselves in proclaiming they understand how to correctly locate and assign "cause." This is a fundamental concept in both tech and admin. "Spotting correct source" and finding "real why's" and "spotting exact time, place, form and event" are catchphrases sprinkled through the scientology jargon. There are examples cited by Hubbard all over the place about "wrong-targeting" - the guy who is upset by his wife and irrationally "kicks the cat" etc etc Hubbard proclaimed the Data Series as the pinnacle of logical thought. How you identify illogical thinking and come to t … [Read more...]
The World’s Largest Scientology Field Group
Is it in India? China? A large US city where there is no scientology org? Houston perhaps? Anywhere in the upper MidWest of the US? New Jersey? Perhaps Africa? Or in Russia? Nope. The "world's largest scientology field group" is right in Clearwater less than a mile away from Flag. And it specializes in auditing children of Flag public. This is yet another indicator that the massive, straight up and vertical expansion of scientology is a complete fabrication. If this field group is the best they have got on planet earth it means there is virtually nobody newly coming into … [Read more...]
Regraded Being
Regraded Being is taking a well deserved vacation with his family this week and next after more than a year of uninterrupted work. I thought it would be a great opportunity to look back at some classic RB. In fact, this is the very first RB cartoon. It appeared on this blog on October 9, 2014. It is as relevant today as it was back then. … [Read more...]
Thursday Funnies
The Moneywinds is ROCKING Recent shot of the "Starlight Cabaret". Says everything you need to know about how they are busting the seams at the top of the Bridge. It's Epic They have 13 OTC members flat out on the "ideal" org in San Diego. Should be done be 2050. Last time for this year Uncle Sam wants you to go up the Bridge. Seriously? Tampa "is making" staff a viable career It's been an "ideal org" for 12 years and they haven't yet made being staff a viable career. If Tampa can't do it, nobody can. After all, … [Read more...]
Scientology Delusions
You have probably read mentions of the idea that scientologists believe they cause things to happen that are quite mad. OT VIII's claiming it was their intention that brought down the Berlin Wall for example (meanwhile, they cannot make all orgs ideal and then tell Dear Leader "We are ready for you to release OT IX and X") But many of these things are the stuff of myth. You didn't hear anyone say it, so you don't really know if it is just an urban legend. The Berlin Wall coming down was before the days of social media. Oh how Instagram/Facebook/Twitter etc etc have opened the world … [Read more...]
Scientology PR Offensive
Scientology has embarked on a self-promotional PR offensive (or perhaps it is merely some offensive "PR") for the new year. They are churning out paid press releases at an unprecedented rate. Straight up and vertical. Epic. And greater in the last 5 days than in the 247.5 days previously by a factor of 9.24X. Of course, these releases are of dubious value, but they look good on their stats. Here are their 4 most recent paid-for efforts to get some media: If we look into these a little more closely... Here is what shows up when you click on the first … [Read more...]
Scientology New Year’s Hype
On New Year's Day I posted a comment to my Facebook page welcoming in the new year with some humor from David Miscavige's address to the faithful sheeple at the event in Los Angeles. A few other observations beyond noting the utter gibberish he spouted about compressed time and warp speed, a year equivalent to "a thousand years of triumph" and "arriving on the porch of eternity." I am ignoring the horrendous (from his perspective) events of the year that he also ignored. They need not be recounted, it suffices merely to say the words "Going Clear" passed the lips of orders of magnitude more … [Read more...]
The Only Workable Administrative Technology On Earth
The item below is evidence that the "only workable administrative technology on earth" doesn't work. There has never been ANY org, ever that has managed to implement and maintain the vaunted Hubbard Admin Tech as it is written. Apologists claim it is because people "don't apply it correctly" but that is a silly argument because after 60 years if not a single person has managed to be able to apply it as written, then it is not "workable." There is no scientology organization on earth that has EVER been able to maintain the arcane, "Central Files" system mandated by "policy." Not one, … [Read more...]
Rundown of Problems
A Special Correspondent (clearlypissedoff) sent this to me. They did a lot of work to compile this information and it deserves to see the light of day as it is an invaluable resource for those looking for a summary of problems and sources of data. It seems like a perfect posting to get the New Year started with something both memorable and useful. clearlypissed off sent me this and asked me to put it at the top of this posting: "Thank you very much Mike, for editing this document and posting it. I would like to make the comment that this was assembled with the viewpoint of having … [Read more...]

Thursday Funnies
Best gift ever... Pay for them to attend one of our fundraising dinners where they will be hounded and harassed until they have turned over anything they have... OT IX and X on the brink of release How do we know? Because the "OTC Production Secretary" announced it. Funny, Dear Leader usually likes to take credit... Celebrate the Sucesses [sic] There are only about 10 words on this -- and they still cannot spell them right. Ensuring mankind has a future Nothing conceited about this. Cambridge "ideal" org can't reach beyond the sidewalk... Mega … [Read more...]
The Latest Con
The cons just keep rolling in. Though they also have an element of armed robbery. You are presented with a unilateral dictate "here is how things are now, and that means you have to turn over more money to us." This one is a new angle I hadn't seen before. In "celebration" of the "golden" age of tech, they have issued NEW Clear and OT bracelets -- "in accordance with LRH's precise instructions." Of course, they cost an arm and a leg. But tough. It's all justified when it is making "planetary clearing a reality." The old ones are no good any more. And Colin Davie, the robot … [Read more...]
The Latest Big Lie (to Get Your Money Of Course)
This one is a monster. Give your money to the US IAS Member Trust and you are "supporting the most effective humanitarian campaigns in the world that are truly saving lives every day." Every part of this is a lie. The "US IAS Members Trust" is not "the IAS" according to scientology when they are trying to defend themselves in lawsuits. It is a "trust" that serves no function other than as a repository of funds. But, I must admit, that is a nitpick. Especially when compared to the rest. The most effective humanitarian campaigns in the world. Seriously? Not even sure what they put in … [Read more...]
