Thursday Funnies

February 3, 2022 By Mike Rinder 32 Comments

An International Top Executive Not top enough to be named... But this is going to "blow you away" Never heard that before.   Wonder what happened? The WTH "movement" in 2014 seems to have petered out   Kiddie Corner Sad   13,000 scientology staff in the world? Not a chance -- but even if there was, each one is responsible for clearing 573,709 people? You want to advertise this?     Sounds exciting Not really.   Maybe the only way... ...they can pretend they are "allied" with a legitimate … [Read more...]

Episode 72: Stefani Hutchison Exposing the Lies

January 10, 2022 By Mike Rinder 62 Comments

We bring back one of our favorites this week, the wonderful Stefani Hutchison. Stefani was never a scientologist, but has taken up the cudgel of exposing the lies of scientology on her excellent blog: Confront and Shatter   In this episode, we cover some of the sleuth work Stefani has done, investigating the claims made by scientology and their front groups. You can find the stories on her blog, and I am also listing them here. It is pretty conclusive evidence that when scientology claims they are "working with the Red Cross" or had a "partnership with..." or "they handed … [Read more...]

Episode 43: Investigator and Whistleblower Jeffrey Augustine

May 31, 2021 By Mike Rinder 31 Comments

Jeffrey Augustine

This week we have the pleasure of speaking with whistleblower, investigator, researcher and friend Jeffrey Augustine. Jeff does great work tracking and exposing scientology, especially in the realm of financial crimes. This episode contains a rundown of scientologist criminals and their legal troubles and the juxtaposition with the public claims of scientology being the most ethical group on earth. Jeffrey has a website where he documents his investigations, it is an incredible resource: The Scientology Money Project   He also does the  Surviving Scientology Radio … [Read more...]

What A Load Of Rubbish

November 30, 2015 By Mike Rinder 161 Comments

Honestly, it has reach the point where these people will say ANYTHING. These are the "PR Professionals" who will be preaching "Never use lies in PR" to anyone foolish enough to show up for their convention. They are actually saying that "LRH PR tech" (this is the reason this time, normally it is distribution of WTH) has created the following in Colombia: A 60% drop in crime A 60% drop in drug production 8X increase in tourism 7X increase in national economy. This is patently ridiculous -- but it does not stop them from publishing it. And what is worse, it does not stop … [Read more...]

Scientology Saves Colombia!

April 19, 2013 By Mike Rinder 54 Comments

This rather remarkable press release was just sent out by Scientology Spokespuppet Pouw. Amazing that the secular Way to Happiness now becomes a “Scientology Brochure.” Of course, it will be a Church activity until something blows up and then the church distances itself as far and as fast as it can (see Narconon generally, Applied Scholastics schools in Florida and Australia etc etc.) I certainly do not object to distribution of The Way To Happiness, but this press release is laughable. Scientology Brochure Tells What is Behind 50 Percent Drop in Colombia Crime Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) … [Read more...]
