Well we just got a copy of David Miscavige's boldest attempt ever to lock down total control of all Scientology audiitng. A good try Dave, but I think the flock has already fled. It is two documents, one that licenses the software and one that licenses the actual meter itself. You can download a PDF of this ball and chain right here. You can also click on the images below to get an idea of the pages and content. Keep in mind this has to be signed and returned to Scientology BEFORE you get your e-meter. I was going to excerpt the most egregious efforts to suppress all auditing outside of Cap … [Read more...]
Scientology in Northern Ireland
Following the recent post about Dublin and Scientology's fictitious activites there, here is more news about the imaginary activities of Scientology in Ireland, this time from across the border. One of our eagle-eyed readers sent me a note about the "Mission" in Belfast. They report that the Mission has been "closed for ages" even though it still appears on the official Scientology website. No doubt this is one of the Missions they count in the 11,000 total orgs, missions and groups. And no doubt Northern Ireland is one of the countries they count in the "186 around the world." It's h … [Read more...]
Bludgeoned With A Blunt Object
If you are a Field Auditor and GAG II has not completely destroyed your willingness/desire or ability to continue your profession, this surely will. You are expected to come up with $10,000 in the next 2 weeks to purchase the "required number" of Warehouse VIII's -- otherwise you will be declared a CI squirrel. How very typical of the arrogant "let them eat cake" attitude of Captain Miscavige. I can see the orders that have been issued now "You tell IHELP they had better get all the field auditors to buy my Warehouse VIIIs and if there are any field auditors who are so DB they are going to … [Read more...]
Me and My Big Mouth: Food For Thought Chapter 2
Ok, so my name is Ian Lee. Back on August 15th I wrote an article for Mike's blog. At the time I was in good standing and wanted to voice my opinions of some things that are happening within Scientology. You can and should read that article here before you continue. The specific reason I wrote it was that a friend of mine had posted a voicemail of a mutual friend of ours "disconnecting" from her. The practice which the church of Scientology denies exists. So I decided to put that assertion to a test. I was in good standing. I'm free to communicate. I'll say some stuff and see what … [Read more...]
Miscavige’s Irish Faux Pas
Here is why David Miscavige is so terrified of his "International Events" being seen by anyone outside the bubble. (You would think He would want all that good news disseminated far and wide?) But the problem is that when what he says gets out into the real world, there are people who actually check the Shermanspeak(r) bs he spouts against FACTS. Pesky things them facts.... The New Years video went onto the internet yesterday and already it has hit the media in Ireland, because one of the "featured" videos concerned the Dublin Mission (which was a very sad little place when I went to visit … [Read more...]
Same Old New Years
Tony Ortega put up the video of the New Year's event today. Unlikely many could stand the torture of watching the whole thing. If you have a choice, it's a good idea to avoid the avalanche of Shermanspeak like the bubonic plague. It can make your ears bleed and brain turn to mush. I mentioned last week that I had been going through the event and making some notes. I never got around to publishing them. I didnt make it through the whole event, and don't plan on doing so as now anyone who is interested can watch it for themselves if they have a masochistic streak. But just because I made the … [Read more...]
I (DON’T) HELP
Please see the recent post on the African Blog about the hoops Field Auditors are now being made to jump through for GAG II. Now comes this from I (don't really) HELP UK. More expected hype about tremendous change and drinking glasses of milk. And then, ruh-roh, plans change because there is ANOTHER "vital tool" for field auditors. GAG II is "old news" already? Date: Fri, 10 Jan 2014 From: I HELP UK <[email protected]>Subject: I HELP/SMI CONVENTION - NEXT WEEK IN SAINT HILL - UPDATE - RSVP Dear All, We are about to create a tremendous change in the entire field of Sci … [Read more...]
Goings On In Clearwater
I was out for a drive last night and passed through downtown Clearwater. Three things of interest. 1. I happened to be there at 7:45 and there were a few people in front of the Ft Harrison and a couple of cars, but not many. And a few walking from the Parking Structure down by where the tent used to be (it was packed up for the 74,319 yard journey back to the UK in 612.3 shipping boxes weighing it at the equivalent of 73.8 fully grown Indian elephants). But certainly not the big influx of people for "Flag Graduation" one would expect at the Mecca of GAG. Perhaps Voldemort has given up on … [Read more...]
Miscavige’s New Favorite Reference
I recently watched the One Ring Circus that was the IAS Event. Tony Ortega covered it on his blog. If you managed to force yourself to watch it you will have noticed it was a great deal of same old, same old. I think they are even recirculating some of their video elements. But this was especially true in the section on how the IAS is eradicating/destroying/obliterating/annihilating psychiatry and everything it does and stands for. The Ringmaster repeated over and over again that this is a high priority for the IAS. It isn't really -- if you have ever had CCHR beg you for money didn't it m … [Read more...]
More Lies From The Bubble Exposed
The leaks from the bubble continue to expose the truth to the world. The "Ideal Org" program is an abject failure. It was "launched" more than a decade ago and is NOWHERE. Here are the facts that this email confirms: 1. The entire United Kingdom still only has ONE Ideal Org and that was paid for by the IAS as part of Miscavige's PR campaign. He told the IAS to fund it as he was trying to gain charitable status in the UK (different from religious recognition and something still not accomplished) but also used it to promote himself. Not one other org is even close. 2. In theory the London … [Read more...]
Captain Miscavige Predicts The Future
Someone recently sent me an audio recording of the New Year's event which I am making my way through. Some of it is a bit hard to hear, but there is enough in there to make for some interesting posts which will be forthcoming when I have the time to put them together. But in the meantime, I came across an issue of the "High Winds" magazine celebrating the first 25 years of the Sea Org in 1992. You can see Captain Miscavige here addressing the audience at the International Base (this is before the advent of the Hole): But what is most interesting is to take stock of some of His hype from … [Read more...]
“Interesting” Times
Haven't had a chance to post this til now. It's not especially important and is a bit of a throw away on a day when I don't have time to put anything else together. But it's another little piece in the puzzle, building the REAL picture of what is happening in the world of Scientology, as opposed to the propaganda they spew forth.... It seems all is not well inside the bubble. The wonders of Ideal Orgs and straight up and vertical and the Golden Age of Knowledge/OT/Tech has not really been all its cracked up to be... "Making it go right" to "persist" through these "interesting times" doesn't … [Read more...]
Straight Up And Vertical — Not
For about 30 years now the FSO has been pushing an arbitrary target of "10,000 onto or through OT VII" as the solution to "handling the planet." It comes from a twisted interpretation of this quote from a 1952 lecture: "...at any one time on earth there were not more than about 10,000 people of a caliber that was sufficient to do a little steering or leading..." Clive Rabey, the point man for the FSO on this matter, explained it in Source Mag like this: "It was a mathematical equation, all extrapolated out. From the real physical universe effects this would create in terms of case gain and … [Read more...]
Fundamentalist Scientology And North Korea
I have often made comparisons between the cult of the RCS and North Korea. I have been reading John Sweeney's excellent book North Korea Undercover (this is a link to order the book on Amazon, I recommend it as an informative and enjoyable read filled with typical Sweeney wit). The parallels that come to mind while reading the book are eerie. Someone also recently alerted me to a link to the official english language version of the The Pyongyang Times. It makes fascinating reading. They seem to employ the same writers as the RCS. Perhaps Dan Sherman is moonlighting for the Pyongyang Ti … [Read more...]
Pathetic In Pasadena
When the only people starting course in Pasadena are names I know from the 80's or even back to the Apollo years, and the services they are on are Student Hat, "SRD" and Purif it tells you everything you need to know about the "straight up and vertical" expansion in one of the premier "Ideal Orgs" in the center of the largest population of Scientologists on earth. They are probably the six people huddled in the one courseroom they turn the lights on in. These Ideal Orgs should be renamed Cannibal Orgs, because that appears to be ALL they do. (Perhaps a big pot could be set up in reception so … [Read more...]
