Thursday Funnies

October 21, 2021 By Mike Rinder 30 Comments

We have quite a selection this week! Dilettantes Get Away Does this prize include an approved CSW from the Course Supervisor and D of P to not report to the org during the trip? (Of course there is no org in St. Thomas or anywhere else in the Caribbean other than Puerto Rico... despite the Freewinds leading the charge on clearing the planet there for 25 years)   For Eternity  For anyone who doesn't know about this -- I recommend you check it out. Scientology has spent hundreds of millions of dollars of tax exempt money to preserve the scribblings of Hubbard for all … [Read more...]

How Empty is Scientology?

October 10, 2021 By Mike Rinder 97 Comments

One of our regular readers, Doug Sprinkle, was in LA last week and went for a walk around the scientology complex. Outside of Flag, this is the largest scientology operation on earth. It should be bustling with people in the middle of the day... Unlike Flag, this IS a place for new public to be sucked into scientology. While Flag is a reflection of how many people are making it UP the Bridge, LA is a reflection of both that and how many people are COMING ONTO the Bridge. Things are not looking good. We know Valley is a wasteland. Never hear anything at all from Inglewood, Pasadena or … [Read more...]

Thursday Funnies

September 16, 2021 By Mike Rinder 42 Comments

Thanks to everyone who submits these each week...   Financial Security Workshop The irony is that the place will be swarming with more Regges than participants. The last place anyone should go for financial security is into any scientology building. Let alone Big Blue where LA Org, ASHO and AOLA Regges will be hovering. Not to mention IAS, WISE, ABLE, CCHR, WTH etc etc   Not much hype The most important beings in the universe don't get the hype that the dudes in the hazmat suits spraying Defcon 9 get. Not even a video!   Two water bottles That's the best … [Read more...]

Massive Dissemination Success in Los Angeles!!!!

July 8, 2021 By Mike Rinder 42 Comments

Hot off the press... This is a new level of desperate. Announcing to the world that they got a single person to buy a book -- some person looking for a romantic partner who is apparently a nerd got caught on a MeetUp.com phishing expedition by a reg at LA Org. Take note of the defensive attitude in this "promotion" piece: "anything new or different gets rejected by those who don't understand it and haven't taken the time to understand it - thus through mental laziness find it easier to reject and discard it." So much to unpack in that sentence. First, … [Read more...]

ASHO Promotion

November 16, 2015 By Mike Rinder 116 Comments

This is a recent email ASHO sent to SHSBC Graduates. The Snr C/S apparently doesn't have enough work to do, so is writing letters. He valiantly tries to worm his way around the fact that ASHO no longer delivers the Briefing Course -- it's no longer the home of the Briefing Course it is now the "home for all Briefing Course alumni to get training and processing" and "the top Survival Rundown delivery unit on the planet." This is like an email from Harvard to alumni if Harvard had been closed down as a university and converted into a Grade School. The straight up and vertical ideal PAC … [Read more...]

ASHO’s New Role

May 26, 2015 By Mike Rinder 117 Comments

For some time I have been commenting on ASHO being an org without a role. With the cancellation of the Briefing Course they have resorted to pushing "debugs" and "Basics." But now they have a new title "The Clearing Org of the Americas" This says an enormous amount about the abject failure of the "ideal" org program. Class V (local) scientology orgs are supposed to be the ones that do the "clearing."  But the vast majority of them (all?) cannot do so. Literally, they do not have the staff trained to be able to deliver the necessary actions to certify someone as "clear." And this is … [Read more...]

The SHSBC Is Dead

February 10, 2015 By Mike Rinder 160 Comments

ASHO Day and Foundation have been "combined" into one org. AOSHUK and SH Fdn have also been "combined" into one org. Never in a million years would any scientologist have expected that TWO Orgs specifically created by L. Ron Hubbard would be closed in the "golden era of scientology." Unthinkable. But like many of the other blasphemies that have been wrought in recent years, it was hidden in plain sight with loud pronouncements of "greatest expansion ever." And then there is this: Saint Hills NO LONGER DELIVER THE BRIEFING COURSE. And this has NOT been broadly announced as not … [Read more...]

ASHO Is Booming. NOT

December 14, 2014 By Mike Rinder 93 Comments

More "good news" for those who love Bad News. The air has gone out of the hype balloon that was the Pacifica Ideal Bridge. Remember, ASHO used to be two separate orgs, now combined into one... And they are now crowing about their incredible statistics: If "virtually every preclear completing the SRD and going into the HGC goes Clear within 2-4 weeks" how can they ONLY have made 17 Clears in 2 months??? That means that have a grand total of 8 people in the HGC (giving them the benefit of the doubt and taking the 4 weeks figure). And that is with 24 auditors. A 3 to 1 auditor to pc … [Read more...]

Not A Soul On The BC At ASHO Day

April 25, 2014 By Mike Rinder 93 Comments

It seems Miscavige has turned his CGI into reality. He is forever showing empty buildings in his "fly-throughs" of ideal orgs. He is also continuously sending everyone BACK down the Bridge to "start over" or "redo" things.  And of course pay for the pleasure even though he announces at these events that "some SP's" had screwed it all up -- but those "SP's" were the people entrusted with the JOB at the time. And while there have been many reports of empty courserooms (see posts here about the tour of Portland and the earlier one on Pretoria) this one takes the cake. According to a … [Read more...]

An Unprecedented Future For Mankind (?)

October 2, 2013 By Mike Rinder 116 Comments

The tidal waves are coming. It's GARGANTUAN. And what is IT? A million file folders for the newest newly renewed ASHO and AOLA. Is this the third or fourth time for the "new" ASHO and AO? And they have been "Ideal Org/SH Size Orgs" for as long as those concepts have been floating around the bubble. So how come their files are in disarray AGAIN? But in all our excitement about the files, let's not forget to get yourself confirmed for the events. We have NO IDEA when they will be, but make sure you sign up now, before Thursday at 2, to confirm your attendance for a date sometime in the future … [Read more...]

L. Ron Hubbard claims his "scientific research" proves he went to heaven. He also opines how #scientology must replace the "false Gods" of #christianity and other religions. It's one of his truly unhinged scribblings that they don't want people to see.

So many people expected that #GhislaineMaxwell would walk free from this trial, but the story told by @BradEdwards_Esq in Relentless Pursuit reveals exactly how she and Epstein worked together. It's a shocking and compelling read. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Relentless-Pursuit-Victims-Jeffrey-Epstein/dp/1471195317/ref=monarch_sidesheet https://twitter.com/BBCWorld/status/1476458297897201667

Watch #TheDeepEnd on Hulu. Fascinating 4 part doc study of cult leader @_tealswan by Jon Kasbe and @BitsSola. Also listen to interview by @sarahjedmondson and @nippyames on @alittlebitculty podcast. Cult leaders are all cut from the same cloth. My take: https://www.mikerindersblog.org/off-the-deep-end/
