Forget the Cleared Planet. We gotta think BIG! As they say, every journey starts with a single step... So, after 65 years, you would think that single step would have been made. One country done... How about one city? How about all the staff in a single org? The unreality inside the bubble is difficult to comprehend. Surely these people have to at least have a fleeting thought -- "If we have not gotten anywhere in 65 years, what does the future hold?" A Cleared Confederation is so "out there" it is not even comprehensible. But that doesn't stop them putting it in their … [Read more...]
Regraded Being
Unfortunately, extenuating circumstances dictate a Regraded Being Redux again this week. RB selected another favorite, from March 2015. You get to enjoy another Regraded Being take on the scientology bubble you may never have seen (unless you are a long time reader of this blog) or may not really recall. RB promises to have all technical difficulties resolved for next week. … [Read more...]

Scots Humor The HUGE clan gathering, including the entirety of the Flag Italian OT Committee (?) and Greg (Mc) Winteregg, his wife and other fundraising imports from England finally happened. From the photo, looks to be about 30 people including children. Does not appear Scotland is in imminent danger of being overrun by scientologists. Church. What church? "Convenient" accommodations They have more cockroaches than guests by at least 47X Right now, in our Aacdemy Still haven't seen a Class IV auditor made in their "ideal" … [Read more...]

Control in Scientology
Here is one of those LRH quotes the church sends out without apparently even reading what it says. Whether you or I find this quote credible, there is no question that the person who sent it out from New Era, and any scientologist who received it, accepts this as gospel truth. That being the case, one has to wonder whether they read this: ...if you see an impulse on the part of a human being to control you, you know very well that that human being is lying to you. Not is just going to—is lying to you. Check up the facts, you'll find out they're always true; that person is trying to c … [Read more...]
Cradle Robbing
For some reason, scientology is proud of the fact they recruit children for staff. It seems like that is virtually all they can get these days. I suspect these are children of scientologists - Brennecke is definitely a familiar name to me. There was a Jan Brennecke at Int. Pasadena doesn't really have the ability to reach out to Venezuela and the former Soviet bloc countries for staff (though somehow Cincinnati has managed to do so). These are the two most fertile areas for Sea Org recruits for Flag and LA. Apparently there are two general categories of people that join staff or the SO … [Read more...]

Facilities Available
Here is a new paid press release from scientology in Clearwater. They are trying to make people think everyone is welcome to come on down to the Ft Harrison and hold their event under the grandeur of the Bohemian crystal chandelier. Anyone, unless it is someone that espouses an idea the church disagrees with -- despite its repeated claims to champion free speech. And any group that chooses to do an event there had better realize they will be used as PR fodder -- scientology promoting their presence as if it means a full endorsement of the church. But perhaps the most remarkable … [Read more...]
Regraded Being
Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond anyone's ability to control (even fully paid up OT's), Regraded Being was unable to forward us a strip this week. I asked RB to select an old favorite for republishing. That turned out to be from December 2014, even before RB became a regular Friday feature. In fact, this appeared in one of the early editions of "Thursday Funnies." Interesting thing about the RB funnies -- they are truly timeless. … [Read more...]

Human Rights? None of these guest speakers have any idea of scientology's deplorable history of human rights abuses. That would be fun. Michael Chan can revive the dead The St Pete Life Improvement Center has not been seen nor heard from for YEARS. Bet the turnout was YUGE... The Truth? Training For The Future
Following the recent post Scientology and “The Mechanism of Death” comes this, the Hubbard/scientology idea that training is "for eternity." As an added point of interest, Jessica Pantermuehl is one of Jenna Miscavige's cousins, who has of course long since disconnected from her and her mother Bitty -- Jessica's aunt. And though she no doubt knows how to confront and shatter suppressives she has not taken the opportunity to pop down to San Diego to visit her cousin and aunt (see Ron Miscavige post from yesterday). L. Ron Hubbard made the "training is for eternity" pitch many times. In fa … [Read more...]
David Miscavige Desperate for PR
You can always tell how much "entheta" is enturbulating the COB. Efforts are redoubled to attack perceived threats to his good name and to flood the internets with "theta" about him. "Public Enemy #1" at this time is Ron Miscavige. I assume Louis Theroux and Steve Cannane are soon to move up the rankings. But for the time being, Ron M retains the top spot and every possible avenue is being used trying to negate him and destroy his credibility. Fake email accounts generate weekly smears, like these from "oliviapaterson873": I never open them because I know exactly the sort of … [Read more...]
Scientology and “The Mechanism of Death”
Most religious belief is purely subjective. There is no way of proving whether someone made it to heaven, or descended to hell. Was heaven a 5 star experience or a bit disappointing? Did the virgin birth really occur? Was Noah able to round up all the animals on earth and put them on his ark? Where scientology is most problematic is when Hubbard made pronouncements that seemed unverifiable at the time, but are now shown to be ridiculous. Some of his statements about being on Venus or Mars for example. Or the supposed factual account of the History of Man including the Piltdown Man before it … [Read more...]

The Unreal World of Scientology
Below is a recent email from one of the unfortunate SO members in PAC. The delusion is amazing -- promoting an entirely new era of EXPANSION and WINS at a whole new order of magnitude. And for this reason, they are re-showing the 1993 IAS event. That makes a lot of sense. The real reason the "War Is Over" event is being re-shown is because Miscavige believes it shores up his reputation with scientologists. In his mind, this is his finest hour. It shows him in the best light and confirms for all the sheeple that they can thank him, and him alone, for the survival of scientology and the … [Read more...]
