Today HuffPo ran an interesting article: Within the article is this: Karin Pouw, a spokeswoman for the Church of Scientology, told HuffPost in an email that while the church “and its members have proudly supported Applied Scholastics in numerous ways through the years ... Applied Scholastics is not part of the Church of Scientology or any other religious organization.” ... Concerning the institutions that use Applied Scholastics, Pouw wrote that “the Church of Scientology has no relationship with these schools.” Of course, this is a lie. Scientology takes FULL CREDIT for everything ab … [Read more...]
Vicki Shantz Recruiting for CF
This is what the most senior executive in the Western United States has devolved into. Begging people to do backlogged filing in one of her orgs. In fact, begging "OT's" who have "such amazing abilities to create effects across the dynamics." Though apparently those effects do not include managing to get people into the org or enough people on staff to do the filing. The bait? A personal commendation... but then again doesn't seem like a commendation from the CF In Charge for WUS would carry much weight. But then again, commendations aren't worth the paper they are printed on held up … [Read more...]
Flag OTC
Bubbles Champagne and her gang of merry fools are still bubbling along... As always, they reveal more than they think with their hype-minutes. If you were looking for theetie-weetie... Jim Wavell (can't even spell his name right...) was the cook on the Apollo. In a "galley" that was right out of a Dickens novel. His interactions with Hubbard were minimal or zero -- he might have spotted him once when Hubbard ventured onto the dock, but that was about all. Don't get me wrong, he is a nice guy, but it's like having someone do a briefing on what the Beatles were like because they … [Read more...]
Being Theetie-Weetie in Scientology
It's SaTerraDay once again folks! Being Theetie-Weetie in Scientology Theetie-Weetie is one of the many negative terms Scientology use to label a person. Such people appear bubbly and upbeat, happy and cheerful, and without a care in the world. Behind the façade, though, is a person scared of life. Ron Hubbard defined Theetie-Weetie as: 1. Slang from England, meaning “sweetness and light” (but they can’t face mest or any outness. Cannot go deeper into the bank than a thought. (LRH Def Notes) 2. He operates in a totally psychotic way while being totally serene. The valence is all the way up a … [Read more...]

Thursday Funnies
"We are 10Xing" From NY Org... They have been o.5Xing for the last 13 years it seems. One of the "original" ideal orgs, it has been a complete bust. But NOW they are going to "10X" -- right. It's because of all the people flooding in based on the positive media they keep generating. Prescient When I made the comment about Jeff Pomerantz last week I had not yet heard of their new "crusade." The world is shrinking Apparently the "world" consists of 3 cities. And how come Columbus isn't taking care of Cleveland and Pittsburgh. It's closer to … [Read more...]
Another Scientology “Human Rights” Trojan Horse
OK, this appears to be a new scientology tactic: give an "award" to everyone you know in the hope it will persuade them to show up. Are they seriously giving "awards" to 21 people? That is more people getting awards than Buffalo Org has on staff. It's more winners than the Academy Awards... And I wonder how many of these people know who it is they are being awarded by? They probably think "United For Human Rights Buffalo" is a legitimate organization. It is intended to create that impression. They might even think the "Human Rights" organization is just using the building for their … [Read more...]
Scientology, Danny Masterson and Law Enforcement
CNN picked up on the Danny Masterson story. It includes a denial from "DJ Donkey Punch" and a shout out to Tony Ortega: "News of the allegations date back to March when journalist and former Village Voice editor Tony Ortega wrote on his site, "The Underground Bunker," that Masterson was being investigated by the Los Angeles Police Department" and to Leah: "actress Leah Remini and her A&E show "Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath" helped bring the accusations to light when one of the alleged victims shared her story with Remini." But most interesting is … [Read more...]
SuMP and Valley Fail
Well, another "Freudian slip" (footbullet?) that scientology manages pretty routinely. Here we have a wonderful combination of reminders of some of their most epic fails. Valley, the "largest and most important" Class V ideal org on earth is sending out emails to get "actually anyone" to please show up in the org for a photo shoot. Of course, this begs the obvious question: why don't they just shoot the people that are there taking services or participating in some way? The answer is, of course, because the place is EMPTY. So they have to beg people, "anyone" to show up … [Read more...]
“We’re The Jive Aces and We’re All Scientologists”
A bit of history to introduce another of the methods Hubbard used to try to gain acceptance and win friends and influence people. In 1974 when the Apollo was experiencing continuous problems maintaining "safe ports" (in fact, in the previous year Hubbard had fled the Apollo when things got too hot in Morocco and moved to Queens NY using a fake name until he deemed it "safe" to return to the ship -- now plying Atlantic Portuguese and Spanish ports) he hit on a "bright idea" to gain "acceptance" for the Apollo. He pulled together musicians (and then dancers) and formed two musical groups … [Read more...]
