Of course, Chicago is the main thing happening in the world of scientology right now, so a substantial percentage of the outpouring of promotional items relates to Chicago. More Hubbard Lunacy
Leah reminded me of a piece of Hubbard crazy that I had totally forgotten about. This is CURRENT policy of scientology. These are the covers he is referring to: According to Ron, any Immigration Official seeing these covers is going to fall all over himself to let the good scientologist into their country. New Haven “ideal org”
Scientology is making headlines in a new article the New Have Independent. They have owned the "new" ideal org for 20 years -- yes TWENTY and have done NOTHING with it. It was one of the early announcement that Miscavige made, touting his "ideal org" program, and even had a "fly-through" CGI video showing what the renovated building would "soon" look like. This and the Battle Creek Michigan "ideal" building are probably the two oldest unrenovated ideal orgs (unless you count Toronto which has been there since before the ideal org kick even started). The Death of Shermanspeak
The passing of Dan Sherman shortly before we left for vacation marked the end of an era in scientology. Dan Sherman was an interesting character. He fancied himself a spy novelist, and took on the role of real life "agent" to establish a line with Gerry Armstrong when he was engaged in litigation with scientology. Sherman convinced Armstrong that he was in contact with "loyalists" who disagreed with the "new regime" of Miscavige and were working inside to overthrow Miscavige and the "new breed of management." This letter was recently received by one of our readers in Australia. They have entered the stratosphere and are building a whole new world of stability and command over the environment using the most powerful tech in the Universe. No hype here at all... This was originally posted under the title: Auditing Scientology: Reexamining Tax Exemption Eligibility which was the title of the article written by Taylor Holley. I believe the ongoing public policy violations alone should be the immediate end of scientology's tax exempt status. Taylor points out how "Public Policy" has been narrowly interpreted to mean discrimination, but this is not what the intent of this regulation is. Scientology’s Disdain for Law Enforcement

In the wake of the Danny Masterson rape trial (soon to be retried after the jury ended up hung), many are curious about scientology's position with respect to reporting crimes to law enforcement.
