It's SatTerraDay once again! For Better or for Worse Seldom are married couples on the same page when it comes to their involvement with the Church of Scientology and for this reason, marriages frequently end in divorce—both with the couple and Scientology. Husbands and wives often have different spiritual goals. Despite what the church would have people believe, rarely do both parties place the same importance on “ideal orgs,” “clearing the planet,” and “going free.” And rarely do they feel the same away about Scientology tech, policy, and management. Since Scientologists aren’t allowed to … [Read more...]
OT VIII Crazy
This is totally wacky. Susan Freilich is certainly entitled to express her "wins" any way she wishes. She can be cray-cray and as long as she doesn't hurt anyone, who really cares other than those who have to deal with her directly in the real world. Something like this has got to make you wonder -- hundreds of thousands of dollars and thousands and thousands of hours to become (or remain - she might have been this way all along) so out of touch with reality. But the organization is another thing. THIS is the "success story" they choose to promote? Wow. It says a lot … [Read more...]
“It works every time because it was written by LRH”
This is an amazing piece from Jeanie Franks/Bogvad's current husband. It is a distillation of how fundamentalist scientologists view the world and their role in it. First off for every good scientologist, an "LRH quote" must set the stage and prove to everyone how "On-Source" you are. It is proudly proffered, without irony, to demonstrate that one is "with the program" as a true scientologist and thus can think for themselves. This one especially picked to be used to overcome sales barriers. "I don't have any money for that auditing you say I need" is responded to with "You are just … [Read more...]
Scientology Apps
It's SaTerraDay once again... Scientology Apps Imagine a future world in which people’s cell phones were loaded with an array of laser-precise Scientology applications. Now picture these apps connecting automatically with a vast air-conditioned server farm located on the edge of the Mojave Desert—affectionately known in management circles as Sci-Cloud. We’re not talking science fiction. This technology has existed for years. Why hasn’t David Miscavige and his church jumped on this tech already? Staying Clean in the Twenty-first Century The second most useful app (we’ll get to the fi … [Read more...]
Thursday Funnies
We Are Hiring Anyone for anything. If you are willing to sign a billion year contract we will take you as long as you are breathing. Read this... The first para is Shermanesque. You finish reading it and feel confused. It does not end. The second para is the big reveal that there are universities in Boston and the org there will of course influence Presidents. I wonder where these people live? Planet Cornball? More brilliant logic in play... Actually, imagine how much charge keeps building up. What does this have to do … [Read more...]
Thursday Funnies
"The Strategy for Clearing Florida" You can bet it consists of ONE thing. You giving them your money. They have no strategy. There isn't even an org in Jacksonville. Or Tallahassee. Or Naples. Or West Palm Beach. Or Daytona Beach. Or Pensacola. Or Gainesville. And there isn't even a Mission in any of these places. Their "strategy" consists of mental masturbation. And your money. We love people from all religions As long as they have spendable cash. And we will pretend we care about their holidays to get them to hand it over. Season's … [Read more...]
Cause Resurgence Rundown Success — I Now Fundraise for Ideal Orgs
This "success story" caught my attention for a couple of reasons. First, the idea that it could be considered a "win" to decide that you could now help with fundraising is rather comical. Tells you what is important in the world of scientology. It is obviously a point of shame to NOT be participating in fundraising for ideal orgs. But there is a larger point here, concerning scientology "success stories" in general. As a general rule, "success stories" are tailored to what the person thinks they are supposed to be saying in order to fit in with the expectations of the group. "Success … [Read more...]
Being Theetie-Weetie in Scientology
It's SaTerraDay once again folks! Being Theetie-Weetie in Scientology Theetie-Weetie is one of the many negative terms Scientology use to label a person. Such people appear bubbly and upbeat, happy and cheerful, and without a care in the world. Behind the façade, though, is a person scared of life. Ron Hubbard defined Theetie-Weetie as: 1. Slang from England, meaning “sweetness and light” (but they can’t face mest or any outness. Cannot go deeper into the bank than a thought. (LRH Def Notes) 2. He operates in a totally psychotic way while being totally serene. The valence is all the way up a … [Read more...]
Another Scientology “Human Rights” Trojan Horse
OK, this appears to be a new scientology tactic: give an "award" to everyone you know in the hope it will persuade them to show up. Are they seriously giving "awards" to 21 people? That is more people getting awards than Buffalo Org has on staff. It's more winners than the Academy Awards... And I wonder how many of these people know who it is they are being awarded by? They probably think "United For Human Rights Buffalo" is a legitimate organization. It is intended to create that impression. They might even think the "Human Rights" organization is just using the building for their … [Read more...]
Scientology, Danny Masterson and Law Enforcement
CNN picked up on the Danny Masterson story. It includes a denial from "DJ Donkey Punch" and a shout out to Tony Ortega: "News of the allegations date back to March when journalist and former Village Voice editor Tony Ortega wrote on his site, "The Underground Bunker," that Masterson was being investigated by the Los Angeles Police Department" and to Leah: "actress Leah Remini and her A&E show "Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath" helped bring the accusations to light when one of the alleged victims shared her story with Remini." But most interesting is … [Read more...]
