This new propaganda piece raises an important question. Where ARE those "legends of scientology"? It is true that many of the "leading lights" of scientology at the time signed this pledge. Though the real story of the IAS is a very different one than the revised history scientology tries to make it out to be. Scientology Math — the “International Review”
Some real "scientology math" at work here. They apparently sent a survey out to 47,565 email addresses they have. They got answers from 132 people internationally who have actually listened to all these ACCs. These are the people who listen to Hubbard lectures because they cannot afford to buy auditing. 13 of them reported they had completed their TRs and Objectives Co-Audit in the last year which was nearly twice as many as the 7 who had reported completing the year before. There are so many things wrong here it is hard to grasp them all. This woman was in the SO -- the LRH Host on the Freewinds. She had to leave "temporarily" to take care of her dying mother? If she is temporarily taking care of her dying mother then why isn't the Sea Org helping her to stay alive? Hey, Sea Org, what about the quote she is using? The beautiful, brave and brilliant Paulette Cooper sent me a note about the new book she authored with Tony Ortega of Underground Bunker fame. I have not had a chance to read it yet, but Paulette is a wonderful writer and Tony has an encyclopedic knowledge of scientology so I feel certain that I cannot go wrong in recommending it.
