Only $25... ...to find out how an episode on the CSN came about. Half price status... Always a good buy. And what was the "Victory"?? They still need to "ensure" they complete their construction target. So the victory was convincing people to show up for yet another fundraiser? Are you ready? They're still getting ready? Surely they are now overwhelmed with people flooding into the orgs (haha) Part Time $1000/week... Yeah, sure. If you buy this line you deserve everything you (don't) get. Not very convincing Something … [Read more...]
Make More Money (So We Can Take It)
Scientology, neatly summarized in poster form. The world of scientology revolves around money. Scientology organizations rape and pillage to get their hands on every dollar possible. Individual scientologists constantly struggle to hang onto enough that is not sucked into the religious vacuum cleaner to be able to live. Then a few of the money-worshippers actually make THEIR money by convincing other scientologists to pay them for telling them how to make enough money to survive. It's like the old illustration of the little fish being eaten by the bigger fish … [Read more...]
More Wisdom from Ron
Another in the series of posts about the insane practice of scientologists plucking statements from "Ron" and presenting them as the most valuable words of wisdom in the history of language. This is apparently an "amazing" quote: What is so brilliant about this gibberish? And what are you supposed to DO with it? Another sad exposition of cult mentality -- the words of the leader can never be questioned or doubted. Scientologists firmly believe that IF Hubbard said it, it is not merely "true" but a profound pronouncement based on unassailable research. After all, he said he did … [Read more...]
Time, Place, Form and Event – The End
My apologies. Somehow there was a screw up in the copying of the text and a chunk was omitted. Both Terra and I have been out all day and I just saw the message with the additional chapters now added. The final installment of the first draft of a novel written by our old friend Terra Cognita. Hope you have enjoyed it each Sunday for the past few months. Terra welcomes all suggestions and feedback -- this is draft -- you can note them in the comments. Chapter 73 “I don’t care what Connolly or anyone else says; seeing Mr. Macias was the right thing to do,” I said. Roxy an … [Read more...]
Unnamed Sources
What are they afraid of by never including anyone's name? I'll tell you: Either the person does not really exist, and this is just made up copy like testimonials for the local greasy spoon written by the owner, his wife and family members, or They are scientologists who happen to be "a police officer" or a "crime documentary producer" (who makes videos for CCHR...), or The people who write these have NO IDEA they have anything to do with scientology, or that their statements are going to be used to promote scientology. If their name was included someone might contact them and ask … [Read more...]

Thursday Funnies
AOLA 500 500 what? 500 people left in LA who will admit they are scientologists? Free food = fundraiser Sounds a-m-a-z-i-n-g And there should be thousands who have been watching right? You want to bet they don't find a SINGLE person who knows the CSN even exists? It's the old problem... People don't buy into the answers to all of life because the building isn't "upstat and inviting" enough. Exclusive briefing This briefing has been being done every week for years. How exclusive is it at this point? Especially when … [Read more...]
“Ron Says”
Unfortunately, this is an oft-heard phrase in the scientology bubble. "Ron says..." or "Do what Ron says". It does not matter if what "Ron says" is gibberish or pablum or ridiculous. The fact that HE said it makes it worth repeating and recognizing as an invaluable tool for life. The quote above is a classic example. It is pompous pontification offering no solution -- merely meanderings couched as if it is sage wisdom. They even include spelling mistakes. And they also what is today a very offensive term (but of course they cannot change it, because this is what Ron said). This simple … [Read more...]
Ideal Org Desperation
More proof that the ideal org program has devolved into desperate insanity. This is a NEW piece from Perth Org. Apparently, this ideal org, that Miscavige yanked his ribbon on a month ago now, was incapable of getting their filing done before moving into their $20 million dollar building. And still hasn't managed it to this day! Remember how this went on for months and months -- just look back at the Thursday Funnies. The begging and cajoling to try to get their backlogged filing done was legendary. Like every other "ideal" org. That an organization cannot muster enough manpower to … [Read more...]
More Ideal Org Idiocy
Some of the claims made about Ideal Orgs defy belief. Even for a cynical bitter defrocked apostate on the fringes of the internet. This is the latest fundraising pitch for the Detroit ideal org. Detroit org has been there for half a century (perhaps more?) and it has created absolutely NO impact. They admit nobody in Detroit even knows what scientology is. They probably know the word and the information from the internet and The Aftermath and Going Clear -- but in the minds of scientologists that means they don't know what scientology REALLY is. They are only aware of the … [Read more...]
Time, Place, Form and Event Part 12
The twelfth and penultimate installment of the first draft of a novel written by our old friend Terra Cognita. Our Sunday Serial. Terra welcomes all suggestions and feedback -- this is draft -- you can note them in the comments. Chapter 67 I thought about calling Detective Gardner as I drove to the ER at Cottage Hospital. I thought about calling Dev. I considered calling my dad. I probably should have dialed 911. But I didn’t. I mostly listened to Roxy saying how sorry she was she had gotten me into all this. I told her not to worry. A couple of hours later a young ER d … [Read more...]
Thursday Funnies on Saturday
As a result of a holiday, flying across country and mostly the deterioration of my gray matter, I mistakenly thought Thursday was only Wednesday and I missed the Thursday Funnies... But never fear -- here they are in all their glory (?) Perth on a roll Nobody graduating anything, but they have brought in a TV show contestant to try to attract some interest Wizard of OH With a special skit to "take our ideal org to a done." Huh? Strange ideas You know what you said has nothing to do with what building you are in? Doesn't even register on … [Read more...]

“Scn US Senator Perhaps”
This email arrived with me yesterday about a guy running for the US Senate in California, letting scientologists know to vote for him because "he is a Scn. on ASHO lines." They want to get the word out that he is a scientologist, so I am giving them a hand. His website gives no indication of any scientology affiliation, though this cryptic entry under his "Political Biography" sounds awfully like one of those scientology Police Activities League buy-offs that happen all too often in Hollywood: Offered financial support to Police Support Youth Programs to aid in drug programs with … [Read more...]
Journey with Ron
This promotional item was distributed some time ago, I am just getting around to publishing it. Scientology continues to try to raise money for the "L. Ron Hubbard Hall" -- another white elephant that will eventually be paid for by "Sea Org Reserves" as a means of using excess accumulation of funds. But it will be milked for everything possible until then. It is interesting that scientology has continued to use the Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater, a venue that seats 2300, for nearly 3 decades. No graduating to larger venues to handle the massive growth and increases in scientologists in … [Read more...]
