Scientology is Dying Off
A tiny Mission in the LA area sent out the following in memoriam announcement about 3 of its members. This is a significant number of deaths in a group of people that probably numbers no more than 100, and that is being very kind. Scientology doesn't actually promise you will never die -- though they come mighty close. Theatre of the Absurd
As they become more desperate, the crazy becomes absurd. Their "successful action" is apparently to hold "potluck dinners" (success is, of course, a relative term). So, with typical scientology “enthusiasm” (Hubbard coined a term for this: "glee of insanity") they proclaim how excited they are to have a VIRTUAL potluck dinner where people share pictures of what they are eating. This is a recent promotional piece trying to persuade the sheeple to do a "chronological study" of the materials. Somehow, this seemed a bit strange to me, because this is a quote from 1973. These materials (apart from the books) were generally not available to the public then. So, I checked the quote. The scientology scam continues in Clearwater. How revealing this FB posting is. This public person is "helping" the Freewinds to get a 17 year old kid to the ship. She is begging someone to give him a room (if he is going to "pay" why isn't he just staying in a hotel?) and that's OK because "he is not going to be on services." For anyone who doesn't know this, people who come to Clearwater for services at Flag must stay in a scientology owned hotel. They would not want any of their money actually going INTO the community. What is this? Promoting yoga! Megan Brazil is a prominent Clearwater scientologist who conducts her yoga classes with prominent, scientologist-owned businesses and now with the Way to Happiness. You have to wonder whether the current world of scientology has anything to do with "the tech" at all these days?
