I mentioned in my post on Sunday that I would let Leah respond to the latest bs about her from Ed Parkin. He should know by now not to poke the bear. Here is what Leah has to say. As only Leah can say it. Scientology uses a practice called Fair Game, these are directives and activities that seek to discredit and destroy anyone and anything Scientology considers a threat to their vile, illegal, and criminal practices. The practice of Fair Game by Scientology, its employees and parishioners is nothing new. It has gone on for decades. Here are some of the “Operations” carried ou … [Read more...]
Scientology Deaths and Suicides
People are asking for our thoughts regarding recent tragic events. We can only offer facts about scientology teachings and our opinions on them -- we don’t have firsthand information concerning the details of Kelly Preston or Benjamin Keough’s deaths, though, when it comes to scientology and scientologists, there are other factors that come into play - factors that are contained in the “scripture” of scientology that give a particularly dark tint to these terribly sad events. The heartbreakingly unfortunate truth is people commit suicide every single day, and people die of breast cancer ever … [Read more...]
Hmmm, Something’s Not Right….
This is a recent promotional piece trying to persuade the sheeple to do a "chronological study" of the materials. Somehow, this seemed a bit strange to me, because this is a quote from 1973. These materials (apart from the books) were generally not available to the public then. So, I checked the quote. Lo and behold, it is about the BRIEFING COURSE, the course that Miscavige canceled a decade ago and has never replaced. Hubbard is referencing the 300+ lectures he delivered to Briefing Course students. It tells you how far from the Hubbard version of scientology the current … [Read more...]
It’s Thursday…
This recent promotional item caught my attention as one of the more ridiculous pieces I have seen in a while. So it seemed perfect for a Thursday Funny. They're holding a "virtual" event (on 5 July) but you are supposed to "serve your favorite Independence Day food." Is this a virtual leftovers event? The poor fools have been working on "building" their "ideal org" to "create Man's true freedom" for more than 15 YEARS and are no closer to having a building now than when they began. And of course, they will only start creating Man's true (?) freedom once they have a building. Because … [Read more...]
Why Do Scientologists Lie?
I originally posted a version of this in early 2017. I have updated it with additional information and quotes. It's important, especially in light of the ongoing prosecution of Danny Masterson, other investigations, and civil cases. Anyone who confronts scientology witnesses needs to understand the nature of the beast. While repeatedly asserting that they are "the most ethical group on earth" and that they are constantly having to "get rid of" people who "cannot live up to their ethical standards," in truth, every dedicated scientologist is a liar. Why? The short answer: … [Read more...]
“Men of Goodwill” — like Tony Muhammad?
Here are some words of wisdom from "HAPI" (the oddly inappropriate acronym for the always small and failing lone scientology outpost in Scotland). The pitch about "men of goodwill" is taken straight from the Way to Happiness. Of course, scientologists believe they are the epitome of "men of goodwill" as everything they do, including taking people's money and breaking up families, is for the good of mankind. But this promotional piece is worthy of note for what comes AFTER the helpful advice from Ron. The example they chose of a "man of goodwill." Tony Muhammad... Apparently this … [Read more...]
Missed Ron’s Birthday Bash?
It seems Penny Atwell Jones was hankering for a birthday party to show her support for a man she follows with all her heart. Denied the opportunity to do so for Ron, she took a shot now for Don. For anyone who does not know, Penny is a loud and proud fixture of the Clearwater scientology community. She is a well-known Flag FSM. Her daughter, Brooke Daniells, has been in a relationship with Catherine Bell for many years (not exactly appropriate for either a devoted scientologist or MAGA-lady) and she was the love interest of Ted Banas, Miscavige's full-time Clearwater bodyguard before he … [Read more...]
Scientology is a Happy Place
I was perusing the STAAD website as I sometimes do, and came across this which caught my attention. The theme that scientology is fun is a tough pitch. Sounds all well and good, the old catchphrase used to be "If it's not fun it's not scientology." I am not sure if this was EVER true, but in these days of crush regging, enforced disconnection and endless re-do's of every level of the Bridge, I doubt there are many people, even the hardcore, who would describe scientology as "fun." But it's an appealing concept and makes scientology sound like a good thing. And then I read the body of … [Read more...]
Scientology Front Group v. Scientology Front Group
There are a LOT of contradictions in scientology. Many of them in the words of Hubbard, usually in an effort to explain why some of his "tech" didn't produce results. But there are a lot of other contradictions that stem from efforts to either make money, or create "good PR." There are plenty of examples, for example, scientology says they are not homophobic, but subscribe to the writings of Hubbard that says homosexuals are 1.1 and all the evil that flows from that. But here we have something that came across my inbox purely coincidentally. A promotional item from Narconon laying out … [Read more...]
Hubbard on Vaccinations
Tony Ortega has run a number of articles detailing the activities of scientology "Anti-Vaxxers." This is his most recent. One of the prominent scientology "conspiracy theory" purveyors is a guy named Jim Rego. He sends out emails almost every day to his scientology friends outlining rumors about vast government conspiracies, the "Deep State", George Soros, vaccinations, the World Bank etc. etc. This time, he sent out, without comment, a quote from Hubbard I had never seen before. If this is known within the scientology world, then it explains why scientologists would be against … [Read more...]
