The first blog post on mikerindersblog.org was on 5 November 2009. It's been 10 years but it sure doesn't seem that long! It's been a lot of fun along the way. I have met many wonderful people here (and quite a number subsequently IRL which has been especially gratifying). Hopefully I have opened a window to discovering the truth about scientology for many. This blog would not have been possible without the support of many who have helped. While it is a labor of love (or perhaps passion) it IS labor and first my thanks to the many contributors who have provided content and … [Read more...]
“New” Ideal Orgs
The Kansas City and Columbus "ideal orgs" are supposed to open over the next 2 weekends. This is no surprise -- Miscavige probably stayed in the UK and is flying directly to Kansas City for the opening, which is why it is one week after the IAS. It is also timed so he could get a double whammy -announce it at the IAS and then show the ribbon yanking as main topics To prove massive international expansion at the New Years Event. He could not have an entire year with NO "ideal orgs." Back in the good old days he had them at each event throughout the year. Remember the hullabaloo about … [Read more...]
Thursday Funnies
JAW at it again? "Superfan" John Alex Wood elicited a "Fuck scientology" from Eric Idle. Perhaps the Pythons will have something to say about this? Well, not sure about best... But certainly poorest. How sad... His life was a mess. So he moved his family to Columbus to join staff. No doubt with promises of a place to say and good pay. Expect he will reach out to the Aftermath Foundation in about 6 weeks... Wow, what an honor This is actually a thing? Erm, what about "Done Sir"? That was last month. All … [Read more...]
How Does It Feel to Be a Scientologist?
Before delving into this latest piece to be found on the STAAD fiction site, let me proffer a more honest answer to the question. How does it feel to be a scientologist? Superior -- after all nobody else has the "tech" of life, they are all ignorant, misinformed or both Certain -- we know the answer to everything, all that is needed is to "do what Ron says." Controlled -- though they would categorize this as "dedicated" or "on purpose". But bottom line, every scientologists does what is good for scientology. Period. John Logothetis expounds with the usual scientology "talking points" -- … [Read more...]
Islands of Sanity — In a Sea of Wogs
David Miscavige is fond of talking about how his "Ideal Org" program is creating "islands of sanity"... It is prominent in his official hagiography at scientology.org The idea that "OT's" are the ones "changing the planet" and creating "ideal orgs" is a "truth" scientology. It was one of Miscavige's strokes of genius to make the "OT's" responsible for creating ideal orgs. That way, they could not complain that they were not able to do OT IX and X, because Miscavige set an arbitrary that all orgs had to be "ideal" before this could happen (it actually began with all orgs St Hill Size, … [Read more...]
Scientology BS Grows Deeper
Scientology had this 116 page "rebuttal" magazine ready to distribute in Clearwater on Sunday immediately after the Tampa Bay Times bombshell dropped. It had been prepared and printed well in advance, with staged photo shoots and 116 pages of PR fluffery and outright bs ready to drop without the inconvenience of having read the article. In fact, it arrived in Clearwater mailboxes Monday morning, so it was mailed even before the article was published. A large percentage of the magazine consists of flowery pages of "I am a Scientologist" stuff. This is basically a rehash of what is shown … [Read more...]
Scientology Has Bought Clearwater
Tracey McManus' meticulously researched article dominating the front page of this morning's Tampa Bay Times is a bombshell. I doubt many people in Clearwater realized just how complete scientology's takeover of the downtown is. This is why I have been supporting and promoting Mark Bunker for the city council. Scientology ALWAYS Comes First Why Elect Mark Bunker? And the urgency of this is further highlighted by a passage in the article. For the non-residents of Clearwater let me give you a little background that is explained in the article. It concerns the dispute … [Read more...]
Nation of Islam’s “Supreme Technology”
It's Hubbard v. Farrkhan. In the world of fringe beliefs this is King Kong v. Godzilla. Who will come out on top? Louis is making a concerted effort to get the upper hand. For the "KSW" scientologists of the world, this must really rankle. Calypso Louis is taking credit for "giving" the NOI "The Supreme Technology (Dianetic Auditing)"... Not acknowledging or attributing Source is a serious crime in the fundamentalist world of scientology. It just highlights once again how bizarre this marriage is. Under normal circumstances this would be a "Matter of RTC … [Read more...]
The “Tech” of Marriage
The amazing hypocrisy of scientology is no better illustrated than with this promotional piece. Here is the "tech" of L. Ron Hubbard being sold as the way to attain happiness in life -- in this case success in marriage. This is a classic case of "Do as I say, not as I do..." L. Ron Hubbard was married 3 times -- each ended in disaster. He left his first wife (Polly) with his first 2 children (Katie and Ron Jnr) to pursue other "interests", including a relationship with the woman who would become his 2nd wife Sarah. He married Sarah bigamously. She bore him a daughter … [Read more...]
More Words of Wisdom from Ron
It is quite remarkable the level of foolishness a devoted scientologist is willing to accept if it is the words of “Ron.” As I have mentioned often, all that is required for any scientologist to buy into the most incredible statements is to attach the letters LRH to the end of the sentence. It is so absurd that it is seen as especially “impinging” if the statement is nonsense on its face. This seems to be proof that the “LRH quote” is profound — something us mere mortals perhaps don’t have the capacity to comprehend. The condescending “good scientologist” will assume the knowing look of “how … [Read more...]
