  In the face of the Danny Masterson trial, I have spent quite a bit of time recently explaining this Hubbard concept and how it relates to treating victims in scientology. Every scientologist knows and uses this phrase, "What did you do to pull it in?" as a pat response to those on the receiving end of something harmful or upsetting to them. With the ongoing rape trial of Danny Masterson, a lot of people are curious about scientology's position with respect to reporting crimes to law enforcement. Scientology responded to reports they forbid this in typical fashion -- quoting the LA Times: The Church of Scientology declined to comment on the pending criminal matter, but said the religion has no policy against reporting crimes committed by Scientologists to law enforcement. “Church policy explicitly demands Scientologists abide by all laws of the land,” spokeswoman Karin Pouw said. Scientology has become a key issue in the LA Mayoral race between Karen Bass and Rick Caruso. Of course, scientology is freaking out as their "good name" (haha) is being used to smear opponents. It stems from Karen Bass' ill-advised participation in a 2010 ribbon cutting ceremony for the "new" LA Org building (the building was not new of course, just refurbished). Citizens of Clearwater will vote on November 8 to allow the city to sell two parcels of land to developers (Mark explains the process in the second video). The annual IAS event has come and gone once again without an actual "Int Event." The reason for no events for the past few years was supposedly COVID related. But that is no longer an issue, the world has basically returned to normal. Yet no event. Scientology has come up with a new tactic to add to their smear videos, "Open Letter", legal threat letters and Google Ads. They are really scraping the barrel now. It seems that over the weekend they ordered people to buy Ryan Prescott's "takedown" of A Billion Years and then write glowing reviews about it! I've not seen this done before. But they have gotten enough people to fork over $3.50 that this is now listed as a "Best Seller" with 147 glowing ratings...   You used to see scientology spokespersons in the media. I was one of them for many years. So was Heber Jentzsch. I escaped. Heber was put in The Hole and became so physically incapacitated he could no longer appear in public (and Miscavige didn't trust him anyway). Tommy Davis was the "it boy" for a while, but he also departed, though he remains a Miscavige brown-noser ion his post-Sea Org life. This is clearly part of the internal propaganda campaign that Miscavige is implementing to try to paper over the large cracks in the PR dam for the scientology public. The bad news is rolling in day-by-day, especially in LA. So, time to send out the SuMP team and film "massive dissemination" happening at "Dodger Station." That they have to beg for people to show up so that their activities can be filmed is VERY telling. That their message is now "We're here" -- as in, "Not YET gone" is pretty telling also.     As everyone who reads this blog is probably aware, CBS Mornings featured a piece on A Billion Years yesterday morning. If you haven't seen it, you can watch it here. The piece was delayed for some time as scientology went into a full court press to prevent it from airing. They sent Monique Yingling to New York, with a delegation of scientologists and another lawyer to dissuade CBS airing it using the usual threats and false claims.
