House Judiciary Committee Submission of Chrissie Carnell-Bixler and Valerie Haney
These are submissions to the House Judiciary Committee from rape victim Chrissie Carnell-Bixler and abuse victim Valeria Haney. As any readers of this blog know, the fight for justice for the victims of Danny Masterson has been long and painful. He finally confronts the criminal justice system, but the victims also filed civil suits before the criminal charges were finally brought. Scientology has managed to convince judge Steven Kleifield in this case (and Judge Burdge in the Valerie Haney case) that the victims are forbidden to have their day in court, but instead must undergo a … [Read more...]
Sign Up For The Sea Org
This "briefing" is clearly a recruitment event (and of course, if they cannot get you to sign up for the SO or staff they will definitely take your money). How can you tell? You don't have Senior HCO there for a straight fundraiser. They are only there to try to get new staff. I suspect this is connected to the post of yesterday where they announced a "big thing coming" -- the orgs will be expected to send staff for OEC training at Flag. Many orgs don't have anyone to send, so they need to recruit someone. They will use this as a recruitment gimmick. Promising … [Read more...]
The Next Big Thing — The Miscavige OEC
Apparently, the launch of the new Miscavige Organization Executive Course (OEC) is just around the corner. You know the old "green volumes" that contain Hubbard's policy letters on how to run a scientology organization? In fact ANY organization. In fact, the "technology" of how to run galactic civilizations because the system failed after a few million years, so Hubbard improved on it. At least, that was his story. These volumes you see below in a historical photo. Well, since the early 2000's, Miscavige has been claiming they are useless. And has been threatening to put … [Read more...]
Episode 27: Jon Atack — OG Scientology Whistleblower
This week Leah and I welcome the insightful and wonderfully well-informed Jon Atack. (If anyone doesn't know the term OG, it comes from "Original Gangster" and means "someone who's incredibly exceptional, authentic, or “old-school”" and Jon certainly fills the bill). Way back in the 1980's, Jon was a pioneer whistleblower about scientology abuses. He wrote a seminal book "Let's Sell These People a Piece of Blue Sky" which was first published in 1990. He has since written two other books on the subject of scientology. Jon was a "public" Scientologist for nine years, until 1983, when he … [Read more...]
Big News: We Nearly Got Someone to Come In
Scientology: the blind leading the blind... Can you imagine any scientology organization being so starved for anyone coming in to take a service that they produce a promo piece about someone who announces a "big win" that someone is GOING TO come in at some unnamed time in the future? This is the true state of scientology today, small and miserably failing organizations. The only thing keeping the place afloat are the whales who continue to hand over cash for "planetary campaigns" and "ideal orgs." They have a single location where they are funneling the few people on service -- … [Read more...]
Narconon’s Troubles Are Not Over
Watch this new (less than 30 minute) video with Aaron Smith Levin and Luke Catton discussing the current problems of Narconon. Since the passage of the "Eliminating Kickbacks in Recovery Act" in 2018, it is illegal to pay commissions for referrals to drug rehab programs. This Kickbacks in Recovery Act now makes FSM Commission for the Narconon program a federal crime. Scientology policies around Field Staff Members (FSMs), where people are paid commissions for referring others to Scientology organizations, was one of the major catalysts for Narconon's growth in the United States. It wasn't … [Read more...]

Twitter Cracks Down on #ScnPsychoTerror
Thanks to some excellent and diligent work by friends on Twitter, led by the formidable Stefani Hutchison, two of the primary scientology psychoterror accounts have been suspended and the first "Stand League" account also. If you missed my post of yesterday concerning scientology psychological terrorism, please read it. One prong of scientology terrorism campaigns has been to abuse social media and the internet with endless lies about people they target. Scientology has the ability to devote huge amounts of tax-free money and free labor resources into creating an overwhelming volume of … [Read more...]
Scientology: Psychological Terrorism
Scientology is the only organization claiming to be a religion that has it's own "intelligence"/dirty tricks branch. It is unique in that the "doctrine" of scientology (ie the written and spoke words of L. Ron Hubbard) contain directives for scientology to engage in intelligence activities, including gathering information, spying, executing operations to intimidate and ultimately destroy people and even framing them. You can read many of Hubbard's "scriptures" in my earlier post here: Dealing with Critics of Scientology: The L. Ron Hubbard Playbook Scientology engages in … [Read more...]
Episode 26: Phil Jones The Man Behind The Billboard
This week, Leah and I welcome the wonderful Phil Jones. You may know him (and his charming wife Willie) from the "Call Me" billboards they put up after trying to reach their disconnected children, Mike and Emily. We cover a lot of ground in our talk, what happened that caused them to leave scientology, their efforts to reach their children, the LAPD, scientology's Fair Game intimidation tactics and the realities of family life in scientology. I will add the link as soon as it is available: This is one of the last shots they have of the family together: The billboard … [Read more...]
Another Ideal Org Taking The World By Storm
As a companion to the post yesterday about Sydney "ideal" org comes this from Perth. Since the beginning of civilization (which according to Hubbard begins with the release of Dianetics -- hence 2020 is really "AD 70") Perth has been a lonely and pathetic outpost in the scientology world. Nothing much has ever happened there with the exception of buying a new building. And literally, that was it. They got new premises out in the sticks and it has stayed as moribund as it had been for the previous 40 or 50 years. They are not even up to thinking about "going SH Size." They are stoked by … [Read more...]
Still Not St Hill Size — And Never Will Be
Sydney "ideal" org has gotten quite a lot of airtime on this blog as they send out promotional items that are routinely forwarded to me. Also because Australian -- and Sydney happens to be my favorite city in the world (close second, London). They, like all the other "ideal" orgs are evidence of the complete failure of this "bright idea" program in every respect other than swelling the coffers of scientology. For those of you who have not been around scientology for the last 25 years, let me explain how this "ideal org" program got started. It was a confluence of (un)fortunate … [Read more...]

Going Ideal?
Apparently he is already an "Ideal Org Staff", though Port Elizabeth, after 20 YEARS of trying, is not close to even purchasing a building in order to be "ideal." Once again, it is clear that this has simply become a catch-phrase in scientology. And these poor people say it as if it means something. "Going ideal" is as empty a concept as "Clearing the Planet." It means absolutely nothing. How do we know? After 20 years, there is a long list of "ideal" orgs and nothing has changed in the world. During this time, scientology has shrunk. It is a fraction of the size it was in the 80's. … [Read more...]
