Thursday Funnies
I guess they only had one "silver contributor" Things seem to going at a snail's pace. Haven't heard of this status before, must be small fry... Don't forget, they also have to do Canberra and Adelaide. They have LOOOONG way to go. Yeehaw We got one! Jean Dale Glass hyping things again She is in Los Angeles. They have 5 miserably failing already ideal orgs within the greater LA area, plus LA Org. Why is she worried about Austin? Because everyone in WUS is now worried about Austin because they have been told it's supposed to be … [Read more...]
An OSA Bot Identified
The first Twitter commenter shown in my recent post Scientology Haters Gonna Hate "quentin", turns out to be someone I know. This "quentin" is QC Strom. He was posted for many years at Gold and then sent to SMP. When he was at Gold he was the clapper boy and then worked in SFX (Special Effects -- should really be named VFX for Video Effects) for super asshole, Miscavige pet, Henning Benndorf. QC is the son of OSA Flag hatchet-woman Kathy True and Don Strom, a former INCOMM SO member who left the SO to work in a scientology computer company. Of … [Read more...]
L. Ron Hubbard: March 13, 1911 – January 24, 1986
Today marks 37 years since the death of L. Ron Hubbard -- founder of scientology, "Source" to his followers, compulsive storyteller and master conman. I want to take a moment today to recommend Russell Miller's wonderful, detailed, enlightening unauthorized biography Bare-Faced Messiah: The True Story of L. Ron Hubbard. Miller's book opened my eyes to so much about Hubbard as he connected dots and answered many questions. The diligent research and detail in his account is remarkable, sifting through the endless stories and lies told by Hubbard about his life and accomplishments to … [Read more...]
The Bait and Switch of Scientology Promises
You may have read the recent post about Hubbard's claims for cures of virtually all disease and illness through auditing. And his condescending view of the medical profession. One would think scientology would have the conviction of the words of their Founder and Source -- they are expected to abide by them without question or alteration. Yet, everyone who participates in scientology is required to sign several releases, one of which is the Religious Services Enrollment Application, Agreement and General Release (this is the infamous document that has been used to force "Religious … [Read more...]
Taryn Kelly Rinder
My daughter, Taryn, was born on 22 January 1978. Today she turns 45. I thought I would take the opportunity to reprint the letter addressed to her and her brother at the start of A Billion Years. And also to put some photos of her here. As you may know if you read my book, after I escaped in 2007 my personal belongings were sent to me, without ANY of my photos or anything that memorialized my life in the Sea Org. Since then, scientology has spent inordinate amounts of money creating internet hate sites about me, many focused around my children and ex-wife. They have used some of my photos … [Read more...]
Scientology Haters Gonna Hate
Haven't gotten around to this one until now. A journalist tweets about the Jerrod Carmichael joke at the Golden Globes and the 3 usual "STAAD League" bots rise up as one (they probably are literally one person in OSA Int) to scream their disgust and accuse him of bigotry. "A lady living a great private life away from the unstable" -- wonder who came up with that piece of idiocy? The people writing these tweets have never even laid eyes on Shelly Miscavige. They know absolutely NOTHING about her life. But they believe everything they are told. This statement … [Read more...]

Thursday Funnies
OT Phenomena How "OT" is it to visit a friend in a foreign city and forget to bring his address and phone number?? Curing amnesia on the "Whole Track"? Hahaha The OT levels don't cure amnesia after breakfast. No big surprise If you are flying in from all corners of the world in order to take advantage of the low prices they offer at AO Africa (compared to the other AO's, the prices are not "low"), you probably don't want to be paying airfares for repeat trips. It's a long way to Africa and a lot of money... It's the final race to the finish … [Read more...]
Happy Birthday Shelly Miscavige
Today is Shelly Miscavige's 62nd birthday. She has been disappeared for the last 15 years -- one confirmed sighting at her father's funeral (with a handler) in 2007 and nothing certain since. Once a fixture of the scientology world, at her husband's side virtually everywhere he went, she suddenly vanished in 2005. I write about her and her vanishing from the Int Base in my book A Billion Years. Shelly is not the only person at the senior echelons of scientology who has been erased from public view (so too the President of scientology Heber Jentzsch, Executive Director International … [Read more...]

Ghost Ship: SMV Freewinds
One of our readers was on a cruise that stopped in Aruba. They took some shots of the ghost ship. There isn't any sign of life, the lights are on but there's nobody home. At some point Captain Napier made an appearance: Not sure what he is doing -- he looks a little frustrated (no big surprise, imagine being the "captain" of a ship permanently tied up to a dock with no passengers)... It turns out his appearance was for a video shoot! What a surprise…. They gathered some kids and had them muster up in formation to be addressed by Capt. Mike (the camera crew is behind the s … [Read more...]
David Miscavige Is Doing Business in Florida
A new article by Tracey McManus reports on the contacts between David Miscavige (Mr. Mickiewicz to his friends) and the former and the interim City Manager of Clearwater. Remember, on 27 December, William J. Schifino (former head of the Florida Bar) and 2 Washington DC lawyers from powerhouse lawfirm Williams and Connolly (Joseph Terry and Krystal Durham) made "special appearances" (cost is no object when it comes to defending the COB, why use one lawyer when you can hire 3?) filed a motion claiming that Miscavige has not been properly served in the Baxter/Paris lawsuit. They claim he was … [Read more...]
Sacramento “Ideal” Org — Empty Like All The Others
One of our faithful readers and contributors happened to be in Sacramento on New Years Day. She stopped by to check out the "ideal" org, and here is what she had to report: I visited a vibrant Sacramento on January first. Old Town was pumping with parents, kids, tourists and lots of young people. I went through the nearby more modern Disneyland-like outdoor mall. I detoured down an inviting staircase and found the Ideal Morgue. It was so dead. I looked in each area until I saw a lone staffer. We made eye contact, they saw my cell phone up and quick as a blow drill, some dude came … [Read more...]
Thursday Funnies on Saturday
Mini Mike visits Flag Just dropped in to try to say hi to Mr. Mickiewicz. Rogue's Gallery Only missing Grant Cardone to complete this pantheon of hucksters. This is the "Advanced Org"? Why are they promoting free introductory VM services? Meet the staff? Just an excuse to put the best looking woman on their promotion. Surely the ED or Technical Secretary or even a reg would be more appropriate than the receptionist? This is very weird.... Two scientology celebrities talking about "total freedom" starting with … [Read more...]
