Today, the NOI are in an arranged marriage with scientology. But in the 70's they had other ideas. This was sent in by a former member who found it in a publication. It is less than complimentary to say the least. It really highlights the point that scientology and the NOI are very much opposite in their ideologies. How are they bedfellows today? The only explanation is money. Because it is certainly not their beliefs. From a scientology perspective, the NOI are very aberrated "wogs" who only have value once they have learned scientology "technology" and how to use the … [Read more...]
Episode 6: The Leader’s Father is Fair Gamed
Leah and I talk with our old friend Ron Miscavige, father of scientology leader David Miscavige. We discuss how he has been Fair Gamed by $10,000 a week Private Investigators, disconnected from his family and his daughter-in-law Shelly. We also talk about the involvement of Lisa Marie Presley in Ron's journey, how she was abused by Ron's daughters at the behest of David, which resulted in her walking out of scientology. We talk about other celebrities in scientology and what Ron hopes will happen in the future. We discussed a few things, here are the links. This is … [Read more...]
The Dark Triad
Frequent commenter Mike Westen has written a follow up article on his blog to his earlier Scientology and Status, entitled The Dark Triad. With his permission I am republishing it in its entirety here: This is a follow up to my previous article, Scientology and Status. virtue signalling noun [U] UK (US virtue signaling) /ˈvɜː.tʃuː ˌsɪɡ.nəl.ɪŋ/ An attempt to show other people that you are a good person, for example by expressing opinions that will be acceptable to them, especially on social media — Cambridge Advanced Learner’s Dictionary & Thesaurus To take a conspic … [Read more...]
Religion?
The question is often asked -- how can scientology call itself a religion? It doesnt have most of the things that "normal" religions have -- worship services, a belief in God, relying on actual gifts and not charging for services, a kind, gentle approach, focus on families etc etc And of course, L. Ron Hubbard was extremely derisive about religions (I will do a post focusing on his views one of these days) until he realized it could have great benefit to use the "religion angle." But one of the things that is most incredible about this business that masquerades as a religion for tax … [Read more...]
An Interview with Leah Remini
If you didnt see this on my social media yesterday, I recommend you read this piece in AwardsCircuit.com about The Aftermath. It is pegged to the Emmy nomination for the finale that aired last year (the result will be announced on Monday 14 Sept). Leah talks about the Danny Masterson case and why we didn't air the initial episode we shot. She also discusses the Me Too movement and scientology, the STAND League, scientology tax exempt status and much more. Give it a read. … [Read more...]

What’s Up With Scientology TV?
STAND League makes a big deal out of the "ratings" of The Aftermath and A&E. Still at it more than a year after the last episode aired. This is one of their recent headlines, exhorting Disney to "pull the plug" on A&E. The hypocrites at STAND proclaim "the audience has spoken and they reject hate speech"... Actually, the audience spoke and made The Aftermath the biggest hit A&E had when we were airing -- though Live PD had higher audience numbers, The Aftermath was their "prestige" show. Emmy nominations across 4 years for 3 seasons and numerous other awards … [Read more...]
How to “Go OT”
They actually still promote this as if these words are absolute truth. And it happens repeatedly. If Hubbard said it, no matter when it was or how much transpired subsequently, they still present it as gospel truth. The last ACC lecture was in the early 1960's. So what "OT processes" is this referring to? The ones in Creation of Human Ability? The ones that were subsequently canceled (all "Creative Processing" was cancelled by Hubbard)? Certainly not the ones from the "OT Levels" that all scientologists know today as they had not been invented yet? Don't the people that write this stuff … [Read more...]
Episode 5: The History of Fair Game
In this week's episode, Leah and I discuss the history of Fair Game and the ongoing Fair Game efforts against us. As always, I include a link here to my "summary of Fair Game" entitled: Dealing with Critics of Scientology - The L. Ron Hubbard Playbook. If you have not read this before and have an interest in this subject, I recommend starting with this. Honestly, this is one of the most important episodes of this podcast. It is not disclosing "new' information, but even seasoned scientology watchers and former scientologists will learn things they likely did not know. Few have … [Read more...]
Scientology Hates “Experts” — Unless They Are Paying Them
STAND League is a constant source of ideas of what should be discussed about scientology. They accuse others (usually Leah Remini and me) of exactly what they are doing. They rail again anti-Semitism, it spurs me to write about scientology and the NOI. They complain about "anti-religionists" it prompts something about what Hubbard had to say about religion. Scientology is "fun" - brings on a post about disconnection and crush regging. And now I noticed this one. Rest assured, every one of the "experts" scientology touts is paid. Massimo Introvigne of CESNUR., Gordon Melton, Brian Wilson … [Read more...]
“We’ll have to come back to earth someday…”
A sort of follow-up to yesterday's post about deaths in scientology. This from a slightly different angle. I wonder if the person who put together this promo piece and chose this quote even gave it a moment of thought. Probably not. It's good enough that "LRH said it" so we can just put it in here and it will inspire people. Because his words are inspiring. Always. No matter what they say. But if you stop for a second, where is "the Commodore"? He has not "come back"? No sign of him (Justin Craig doesn't count, or if that IS him then he regressed terribly in his between-lives implant … [Read more...]
Scientology is Dying Off
A tiny Mission in the LA area sent out the following in memoriam announcement about 3 of its members. This is a significant number of deaths in a group of people that probably numbers no more than 100, and that is being very kind. Scientology doesn't actually promise you will never die -- though they come mighty close. These people certainly didn't discard their bodies to continue their OT research unencumbered by a meat sack as L. Ron Hubbard is claimed to have done. Therefore, according to scientology they must have been PTS, and probably had unflat NOTs. This is the cause of all … [Read more...]

Scientology is “Fun”
STAAD puppet Rodger Clark has produced a "sequel" to his earlier effort claiming scientology is "fun." He claims his earlier piece "struck a chord" with readers... Apparently the reader(s) is me. Just me. I had responded to his "Scientology is Freedom, Freedom is Fun," with my take on his assertions "Scientology is a Happy Place." It seems Rodger was not too happy about what I had to say, as he quickly launches into a smear of me. Not much "fun" or "happiness" on display from Rodger, just a whole lot of name-calling. He gets underway with this (after his happy … [Read more...]
COVID – 19 Propaganda
Someone sent me a link to this new "book" about how wonderful scientology is for their brilliant handling of the COVID-19 situation. But of course, nobody gives them credit for the amazing job they have done. This lady seems to be trying to make a case for the enormous aid that scientology has provided. I doubt she has seen any such thing herself, but has just glanced at some photos and videos of Defcon7 spraying in some outpost in Africa, and just "knows" this "sort of thing" is happening all over the world, because after all, the VMs ARE the largest private relief force on earth (if you … [Read more...]
